I was hoping for help answering two questions. 1) I enjoy playing PLO as well as NLHE and I'm trying to decide which one to focus on. 2) I am looking to get a coach for whichever one I decide to make my main game. What I was looking for was advice on which game to choose and who to choose as my coach. When looking for a coach I can't spend over $100/session and I would prefer to spend less if possible. I'm looking for a coach who is going to help move my game to the next level. I'm certain that all coaches on DC are great in their own way but I was hoping that people could share some of their experiences with the different coaches/recommendations of coaches in this post so that I could make an informed choice. If you're a coach reading this please feel free to let me know about your coaching style.

I do ask that any comments about the coaches remain positive, if you had a bad experience please dont add it to this post.

Thanks!

Tim. Knowledgeable, punctual, explains his thoughts very well and very clearly, no question tires him, flexible, affordable, all-round nice guy. NLHE.

Thanks! I dont know if it matters at all but I'm in the US so we are quite a few time zones apart. I am very flexible though so I'm hoping that wouldn't prevent us from possibly working together.

Sick thing is i think WiltOnTilt probably is worth the money even though you could probably get a top of the range psycologist for that who may help you more, depending on your mental clarity Smile

Orange coaches both PLO and NLHE, I haven't had coaching from him but have seen him posting a lot and he gives very good advice.

Thanks, do you know which orange plays more of? Which is he a more competent teacher in?

Oh also Krats, you can always go to the coaching page and fill out the form at the bottom of it. If you add in as much detail as you can think of about exactly what you are looking for and exactly what you need, someone at the coaching department will usually get back to you with recommendations of available coaches based on what you tell them. Might be something else you could try, as well as getting feedback here from other members...

I'm working with Inavacuum and really enjoy his coaching so far.
