I had a 2-hour coaching session with BBB last month and have chatted with him a bunch on AIM about the pokers. If you are a low to midstakes player I can't recommend him highly enough.
BBB has the coaching trifecta:
- I thorough understanding of poker theory.
- A passion and skill for teaching and discussing poker.
- Someone who is grinding and winning in today's games.
It means that he can help with pretty much any question you throw at him, be it poker specifics or the meta-game subjects such as site, game and seat-selection. And he has the results to back it all up.
The coaching session itself was done extremely professionally. I asked him to review a random video of my play and discuss it afterwards. Before our session he sent me a word doc with some main points of discussion. Then we had a skype session which he recorded and shipped me afterewards, so I had everything needed to review what we'd done later. I'm a part-time coach myself and he kinda put my sessions to shame!

Just wanted to say that Todd is a very excellent poker mind and coach. I've been talking poker with BBB for several years and can tell he thinks about the game at a very high level and is a solid winner in all the games he plays.
Todd is also the first person I go to when I get mopey about poker, because he always has his head on straight and always gives great advice about downswings/tilt/and generally being a solid professional about poker. I can't recommend his services enough.

Todd is an excellent player & coach. He helped me along my way as far back as November 08 when i was just starting to move up to 2/4 6max. I know for a fact that he spends a majority of his time away from the tables working on his own game and helping others. I have spent countless hours discussing strategy with him over skype. I will honestly say that had i not found his coaching advice and friendly attitude to be helpful to me , i would not be playing for a living today. Thanks so much!

bought 10 hours worth of coaching which I completed right before Christmas. I will tell you right now that BBB is thorough, on time, and always goes the extra mile for his students. He is accommodating to shifting schedules and is always willing to go down various theoretical poker rabbit trails, no matter how tangential they get AND he will bring it back to the main point. He's like a LHE Shirpa! 5 out of 5 stars for Todd!

I spent a lot of time beeing a breakeven player at lowstakes, i wanted to improve, met BBB and started to understand how Limit Holdem is about. Some sessions later I progressed a lot!
Still things to improve, but i don't know a better way to learn than having sessions with this excellent coach!
