What is the issue with multi-accounting? Is it just to try and scam the trial period, or... ?
The original question was about the most videos watched by one person. The accounts that have the highest videos watched are often ones used by more than one person. It's against the Terms of Use of DC to have more than one user to your account.
Thanks, I misunderstood.
So, here's a question: What's the best way for a member to be part of a video series for a certain game type? Obviously, being an active and helpful member of the community is almost a prerequisite, but apart from that?
Also, maybe some coaches would like to link to parts of videos that they're most proud of?
Now I know some of you have made some donkalicious moves while trying to do a video, which makes you think I don't want that public and thus start over! Question, what's the most "takes" you've done for one video?
Is there any really epic idea for a series you guys keep wanting to do but haven't been able to due to some sort of constraint?
Also, DC really innovated a lot of great stuff - series concept, sweet time links on the replayer, etc. Do you guys have any epic innovations planned that will change the world of poker training vids? I understand you probably can't tell us what they are due to competitive issues, but any hints you can drop? ![]()

I don't keep track, but the answer is definitely between 10 and 20.
I dunno if I've ever started over because I misplayed a hand. I don't mind misplaying a hand in a video as long as I catch it in the video or in the comments. Most of the time I restart because I was really card dead or because tables keep breaking. Sometimes I restart because I keep saying dumb things over and over again or because I reveal info I shouldn't in the video (accidentally pulling up my AIM buddy list, for example
).

Probably 6-8. And the mistakes still leak out
(That's part of what the discussion threads are for!)
Also agree with Noah re: reasons for new "Takes". I'm not so worried about mistakes, bc as already mentioned, they tend to express themselves either afterward within the video or in discussion and can still be really valuable tools to both teaching and learning and general discussion. It is much more common in my experience to have technical issues, logistical problems, or for donkaments specifically dumb coolers in the first few hands that sort of ruin the entire flow of the video content when you can't insta reload, etc....
Most annoying coach to deal with?
Best person to do business with?
How often do you reject videos cause they are not up to par?
Who has been fired?
Who have you offered tons of money to produce videos but still won't bite?
Who gets paid the cheapest to do videos?
Who gets paid the most?
For the series, do you ask the coach to create one or do they approach you with ideas and you accept it?
Which coach submits the most proposals?
How many subscribers do you have?
How many subs do you think, leggo, cr etc.. have?
I'd think that DC & Leggo dominate the market share, how do the other small new ones survive? Can they?
DC is the best training site, which is #2? Leggo?
What are your thoughts on Bluefirepoker, they have a small roster but everyone of the instructors are crushing the games?
In my opinion, AEjones, Galfond, Ansky and FWF are the best video producers. If you can only have any 10 coaches who would they be?
This is really a fantastic site, where do you see DC in 3-5 years?
Without the Fulltilt deal, how many subs would you think CR has?
Has anyone gone on tilt while making a video? Home Game vids can count, but only for 1/2 credit.
After a video gets recorded what is the process? Who does it get sent to, what do they do, does it get reviewed or watched before being posted? Can you take us step by step behind the scenes on a video or series being created?
Is there a DC HQ or do you all work out of your homes?
haha i guess we did say ask us anything...
Most annoying coach to deal with?
No comment! Honestly, no one on the team is really annoying, I think they'd be gone if they were that bad!
Best person to do business with?
Sthief (Josh) is the nuts. I love getting to work with Wilt on videos, and Chuck - we grew up together. And Aaron Gerdes. He is smart.
How often do you reject videos cause they are not up to par?
Not often - the ones we do often come from first time contributors. We kind of hammer the high quality mantra into people right away, and our guys are really proud of the content they create, so a lot of people are pretty nitty about the videos they send in in the first place.
Who has been fired?
Our first lawyer. He starred as Chunk in the Goonies, and, well... should have stuck to being a child actor.
Who have you offered tons of money to produce videos but still won't bite?
Flawless... yet.
Who gets paid the cheapest to do videos?
Joe the Pro. He's just so good at the poker that he does us a favor.
Who gets paid the most?
FoxwoodsFiend gets paid a lot.
For the series, do you ask the coach to create one or do they approach you with ideas and you accept it?
Both. I head our creative team and we are heavily involved in preproduction.
Which coach submits the most proposals?
I think PygmyHero proposed to Rob once, but it might be the other way around.
How many subscribers do you have?
Not enough. Tell your friends about us!
How many subs do you think, leggo, cr etc.. have?
CR>everyone. We're not very concerned with #s, though - just being the best...
I'd think that DC & Leggo dominate the market share, how do the other small new ones survive? Can they?
There's not a lot of overhead - if they have a few great instructors/players they can get by.
DC is the best training site, which is #2? Leggo?
Why thank you! I like Bluefire's videos the best.
In my opinion, AEjones, Galfond, Ansky and FWF are the best video producers. If you can only have any 10 coaches who would they be?
I would take Phil from Bluefire, Aaron from Leggo, and Cole from CR. And then Team DC.
This is really a fantastic site, where do you see DC in 3-5 years?
Hopefully doing something really cool.
Without the Fulltilt deal, how many subs would you think CR has?
A lot. They still have Townsend, cts and stinger...
What are the chances if getting Bart to do a cash game video? E.g. Live at the bike style
what do you think the biggest differences are between the videos put out now and those first put out by CR etc?
Imma rep for LHE if anyone has questions.
Now I know some of you have made some donkalicious moves while trying to do a video, which makes you think I don't want that public and thus start over! Question, what's the most "takes" you've done for one video?
There's no way of knowing for sure but I think I have the record on this one. I made one of my earlier Excel videos and honestly probably did easily over 50 takes on it. This was partly the product of my perfectionism, and partly because I was still pretty uncomfortable making videos at that point, which led to some pretty comical mistakes.
e.g., 'So I can paste that over to cell C13 and then we can...wait...what happened there? That's weird...Okay so it seems that my absolute reference messed up...oh that should be a plus sign...'
Also my computer was old and busted, which caused some takes to be aborted for tech reasons when I was doing okay otherwise.
Is there any really epic idea for a series you guys keep wanting to do but haven't been able to due to some sort of constraint?
I told Rob about ideas I had for an two different types of interactive video series maybe 2-2.5 years ago now. We agreed neither was super feasible from a logistics standpoint. I still have not figured out a way to carry off either idea (or even like a baby cousin of them).
Tell us something about BLdSWtTRs. He seems to be great player from short description on coaching page but never made any vids or anything.
