hello I am looking for coaching at micro stakes full ring
I am recreational player, not profitable at NL 10 but
I am profitable player live at 1-2 and my few attempts at 2-5 were profitable but don t like to play for that much
I am looking for the best package $500 can get me
I live in Montreal Canada so would ideally prefer someone in the same time zone

As i mentioned I am fairly profitable live and I think I have at least some grasp over the basic concepts
I sometimes single table NL 50 or 100 not with a big sample but on 300 hands I show a profit and
I don t feel too lost when I play them
on the other side each time I try mutitabling NL 10 I end up in red
for some reasons I believe I am missing something, bluffing too much maybe or hand selection or staking too easily ... I would just like to have someone to checkout my game and help me move up

1-2 live nl is worlds different (read: easier) from 50 or 100nl online. Also the fact that you use a 300 hand sample to define anything other than a single session shows that you have a lot to learn. Watching videos and talking to people in the forums will take you a long way.

Agreed watching vids and talking to ppl on the forum will get me a long way but the crux is that I feel getting a coach will get me there way faster, the same way you can learn golf by watching tiger wood on TV but it is way faster to get a coach (note that when people get a coach at golf they don t expect positive $ROI, same here just want to get there fast)

Watch a couple basic video series then be glad you didn't pay $100 an hour to get something you could have learned more efficiently for free.

Then I suggest you go to DC coaching profile and PM some coaches in your price range to see if they can offer you a package deal. Also group coaching is another option for you, you can find some details in the coaching forums here.

I completely understand your sentiment. I felt the same way when I was starting out. Even if it's not the most efficient route, it can't hurt to hire an inexpensive coach to help lead the way, even if all he does is point in the right direction of what videos to watch and whatnot. Peruse DC's roster, watch some videos from prospective coaches, and then PM a few to help you finally pick one.
