When I contacted Jordan I was primarily a live poker player with a bit of micro stakes 6 max experience. I wanted to learn HUNL but, coming from live full ring that was a pretty big difference and i knew i would need some help.

First of all he is very patient and always really nice about re explaining certain concept that i haven't fully understood. We went over the basic math behind certain HU spots, the different types of players I encountered and helped me think about what kind of strategy would be most effective against them, and also how I can apply these concepts in other games such as live.

The best part about the coaching was how he would answer questions. Whenever I asked him if I should do something or not versus a particular player he would almost never answer me directly, he usually hinted me in the direction of the answer by asking me another question. This was extremely helpful because he was teaching me how to think! He was teaching me what to ask myself next time I'm confused, which goes a very long way. Also he always was asking me questions about what I have been having trouble with, which really helps make the most of our session. He always replies to HH i send him, even live HH, and gives me great advice pretty quickly. Lastly he is always going over the time i paid for which I really appreciate, he makes sure I understood what he said and that we finish the video that i recorded even though sometimes it was a bit too long.

In the end I highly recommend Jordan as a coach, especially for people who want to transition into online HU or 6max, or just to get better and move out of the micro/low stakes.
