This is only showing up if you go to the Videos forum, it doesn't show up on the main Videos page. Just a heads up.

Hmm, I see it on the main videos page. I will try to duplicate the problem and see if we can track down the error though.

Hope this doesn't come off as negative, but I preferred the earlier videos of this series where I got some major concepts from them that I can apply in more varied situations without having to do pages of calculations myself for every situation. For example, summarizing a wider range of flops and giving the EV of particular moves in those situations to help understand the most +EV decisions would provide a video with more 'meaty' content to take away.

If you can even pick a couple of concepts from each vid then its well worth the time.
Its the kind of series I think could be re-watched many times and learned from each time.

I know a lot of people have issues maintaining concentration with this series and I can empathise with that, but I would encourage those individuals to stick with it as much as possible and the same applies to WoT's mathematics series. Watch the videos/re-watch the videos/load them onto your portable media player and put them on while you sleep hypnotherapy style*/whatever you need to do. Once you have absorbed the concepts discussed you should find that you start inherently applying them to your game more and more. This series in particular I would suggest those TAGs stuck in the low long-term bb/100 pattern pay particular attention to as you can glean a number of ways to diversify your game if you take the issues Josh has brought to our attention and use those %s when making certain decisions.

First of all!
Congratulations, this is such a valueable series - I am a big fan of this one.
It is like a jewel - Respecht and keep on making such a good jobWink

question:

When the fish would val.bet here a set only to approximately 75% b/c scared of the str8-Board, he also will not val.bet here 2Pair so often, I would guess.

But here you assumed that he would val.bet a 2Pair as often as the TAG and more often than he would val.bet a set.
Anyspecial reason for this one?

General question: Do you agree that we should call less Valuehands vs. a fish on the river given such a str8Board b/c his valuerange is stronger?
Of course when the fish is not too aggro and blffy...

Couldn`t you just calculate it following way:

he has potential 16,3/(16,3+33,5) = 32,7% Bluffs in his Riverbettingrange.

So, when we are faced up with a 2/3-PS-Bet, we need at least about 28,6% to call on order to break even.

-> hence he has to bluff at least here 87,5% (28,6/32,7) regards to his riverrange.

So i would do this.
But I guess, I have anywhere a misstake b/c my numbers are not the same like yours - can yiu help?

Furthermore, I do not get the fixed number/value of 25% in your sheet.

15.10 - Tag Bets Into $100 Pot
• With $100 bet-He needs to bet 97% of the time with his bluffs otherwise our call is -EV

He vbets with 33.5 and bluffs with 16.3 of his 49.8 TOTAL combos. So he bluffs 1 to 3 times…. Why should we also find out how many times villain needs to min bluff us with his bluff combos???? I understand that by this way we can see if our equity is really 33% or smaller (ex. if he bets 50% of his bluff combos then our equity will be smaller) but except that is there any other purpose of thinking that?? Is there something else I don`t understand???

When I bet on the river (I`m the TAG) Villain thinks he has 33% equity when I always bet with my total 49.8combos….. How can my bluff% make my equity zero (0)???? I always bet with all my combos (vbets or bluffs) so I win more money than I lose (EVcall)…..What is the point I don`t understand??? Can you help, please???

Josh
• Can you advise what is inside cell I25 (10,9%) and the formula for this result??
• Can you advise what is inside cell G25 (25%) and the formula for this result??
Otherwise I cannot use Goal seek the way you have shown us…. Can you help, please??

GREAT SERIES, THANKS FOR EV?RYTHING!!
