Flop raise is bad. Sure, you've flopped TPTK, but it's not the greatest TPTK as we're up against a nit who is showing strength.
A 14/8 can 3-bet some random stuff, but you're looking at TT+, AK the majority of the time when he decides to 3-bet there.. a 3-bet % or the amount of hands you have on him would be helpful. On that kind of flop, we're looking for pot control and to try to get to showdown -- JJ and TT will probably call the minraise but we'll probably get a little value out of them by just calling the flop as well.
By raising the flop, and getting 3-bet, you must fold, even despite the minreraise. What hands can he have? Yeah, he's played his hand like a complete donk, but a 14/8 usually is a bad player. He's going to show up with AA/KK/QQ a lot here. I mean, you could call the flop, and hope to god he just gives up if you do have the best hand, but this is the annoyance that comes from making a misguided minraise on the flop here. Keep it more simple IMO.

Thanks Billy.
Yes, I did not clearly think of the range of this nit. And you're right - pp's from 10/10 up to AA and AK are the only hands he'd do this with.
I should have folded to the rr, but jammed like a donk and he shows QQ for trips.
When I call the 3-bet pf, I'm kinda making the decision to stack off if the board comes KXX, which is the wrong frame of mind obviously.

OK tuba, I'll drop the NL100 into the small stakes - NL100 just seems to be on the board small/large stakes lol.
Yeah, induce a bluff. I sometimes do the min RR and that seems to get air/2nd pairs fold.
