Great video, nice theoretical framework. Also liked the overbetting bit.
You got me intrigued about HM2, seems to have a very neat notes system among other stuff.

TYTY.

It's PT4, btw.

I see. Did you try HM2 as well? If so why do you use PT4 instead?

I'm probably going to try both trials soonish.
Judging from some older 2+2 posts PT4 seems to have some very nice options and seems to be umcomplicated out of the box whereas the new HM2 seems to still be rather clunky in contrast to its predecessor.

edit: seems like PT4 is still in beta? Is the beta version public?

I have a bunch of students that have HM2 and it kind of seems like a mess to me. I've been helping the guys at PT4 out with offering some suggestions and what have you, so I got a copy that way.

I'm not 100% sure what the details are with the beta of PT4 but I think they are giving out limited copies at this point.

Why do you 3bet Kosino to such a big size? I think he wont react to a 14$ 3bet way different. Many shortys even react to a 12-13$ 3bet the same. I think those $$ differences make a huge impact on our winrate against those shorties. Every Dollar counts....

I don't know why you just don't get it in with JJ here. I know you say you are concerned because the reg just flats, but I don't think he's flatting hands better than JJ all that often.

What is his flatting range? I have no idea.

Would you usually fold JTo OTB here when a fishy guy min-opens? Or did you just miss it? It seemed like you were focused on something else.

Yeah, probably fine to flat there. Much better or more info and I'd 3-bet.

Yeah I'm not really sure either, but do you think he's ever just flatting with premiums?

Well, it's about the only hand that makes sense to flat, but maybe I'm giving him too much credit.

I could have just been so weirded out by it that I made a mistake, but at the same time if we have no idea what's going on with his range it can't be a bad idea to keep the pot a little smaller. I dunno... I just wasn't sure what was the best play in that situation because you just rarely see a TAG do that, and it doesn't make sense for him to be that weak.

That's true, I'm the same way when I don't know what to do pre-flop. I just like keeping the pot small and playing postflop. Why do you think it makes sense to flat premiums there? Wouldn't it just be better to get it in pre against a short stacker, since his UTG opening range is probably narrow?

I'm not saying it's good, I'm just saying it's the only hand that actual has enough value to flat. He can't flat medium/small pairs. Maybe he can flat suited broadways? So, suited broadways and premiums are the only thing that are +EV to flat.

Yeah that makes sense.
