Here's one I made that's a bit different format than the normal live play vid:

Love the series. I'll also make a live vid at some point, although I got the flu or something over Thanksgiving so I've been out of it since Sunday Frown

Josh, your video stops on 10mins and then it is just audio. Can you check it here are my notes so far.

35 secs
You instant c/f your AK in a 3bet pot, with a gs and overs. Vs his flatting range of TT-QQ,AQ+, you have pretty good equity. I am not 100% if c/c or bet small on the flop so we are putting our own price on seeing the turn, as it is unlikely he is going to raise his TT-QQ as if we call/raise we have him crushed.
2.52
Table 2 – 33, you open to 3x on the btn, not sure if you looked at the bb, he is a shorty. I would be min opening here, as he is going to be shoving a wide range. Also he won’t be folding many flops when he does call so want to make our cbet as cheap as possible. If we do hit, it will still be super easy to get the money in over 3 streets.
3.00
Table 3 – You raise to 3.4 vs a CO open, he only has $8 so I would make it smaller, to give him the opportunity to feel he has fold equity. You also create less dead money with the blinds behind.
4.20
Table 3 – You call your sb vs the ss open. I think we should be folding this hand. You aren’t going to hit enough to make this profitable when you are so shallow. Also with the 42/17 in the bb, he is going to come a long with his whole range pretty much. So it leaves you oop with a marginal hand and no fold equity.
4.50
Table 3 – You open 57s with a loose guy behind. You will have to c/f on cbet and give up the turn so much in this spot. Also with the btn calling so much. The dead money it creates the blinds can sq with a wide range in this spot.
5.15
Table 2 – No cbet on a Kxx dry board. It makes your hand look like something that wants to get to showdown, if he is good he will be barrelling turn and river.
5.40
Table 4 – You call pf vs a min open from a nit who is UTG, don’t think this spot is profitable. Don’t like calling the flop with a pair of 3’s, tainted outs and no backdoor equity to the nuts.
7.18
Table 1 – KT on K74. I would bet a bit bigger. As when you bet into 3 people your hand looks strong, and so people aren’t going to call with weak hands, but will call with there draws most of the time, and so we can bet bigger and still get the frequency of calls from worst hands. I think that the turn I would c/f, as if you check call your hand looks pretty weak on a drawy board, so he could barrel you off on the turn. It is unlikely to be air here as he is never floating the flop with air.
7.48
Table 3 – Shove your quads here. No one can ever fold a full house, if he has an ace you are giving up $4 here. NH
8.41
Table 3 – I am not sure in MP that isolating a ss fish with 87s is going to be profitable as the value of the hand goes down, we want to play big cards vs ss, as stack sizes don’t make it profitable.
10.00
Table 4 – Fold 76s here, I think the shorty is going to shove a wide range, either pf or on the flop. You aren’t going to be able to get to the turn or river with your draw. Would be better if you were closing the betting but there are still two people left to act.

about the KK hand at the end:

why bet 75 in 118 on the turn? I don't think you have to balance your betsizing vs him, so if we have the best hand a ton of the time, and he pbb isn't folding a pair because he is stationish, it's good to bet big right?
like 110 in 118

then we build a bigger pot for the river and we can make a larger riverbet as well.

yea certainly i'm all for making exploitable bet sizes when you think you can get away with it.

Thanks for watching.

I feel opponents are shoving over blockbets here as a bluff. I "blockbetted" the last 4 times I actually made the flush and they were shoving every single time. Small sample size but it proves that they are doing it at least at a reasonable frequency if not too often. Was on microgaming perhaps FT regs play differently at these spots.

can you recommend any series that teaches about some of the stuff you talk about here ? i'm just starting out, played 2/5 live at the casino for about a month. Its hard to make the jump from learning all the basics like pot odds etc ... to 4 tables where you're talking so much about so many things. i m gonna start to play online and i have no idea what to do. so different from playing live. thanks.
