I think he meant if he flopped the flush.
Such a tilting layout.
That said, the video is probably gonna be good.
Wow, WiltonmfckingTilt video. Amazing

What do you think of a small river bet on table 4 just to get villain off all draws that missed and gutters that he may turn into a bluff? It's true that fish don't know how to value bet, but once he checks behind that turn I think he is drawing more often than he has a made hand. Also if he has a J he is likely to just c/r your flop bet and a T is not slowplaying the turn once you check to him.
Hey Guys,
As no video next saturday, going to review a 25nl video of a member (or two). Post your video in this thread (please if you use camtasia can you produce the file as wmv or avi as they are smaller). About 30 mins long. Also as with a link can you post a link to your favourite recipe, as want something new to cook.
Ta very much....
Alex
Hey WoT,
You mentioned calling from the btn, w A9o, when the loose fish opens. What do you think of 3 betting hands like A9o, to 2.5 x pfr? Do you think the smaller 3 bet is more likely to entice a squeeze, from the blinds, than simply calling the pfr ?
Also, would we rather iso, small 3bet the fish with A9o ?
Thanks for the input....
Sorry I screwed up the timeline link. Was ~ 45'
Cool video guys.
Wilt, just a quick idea for some future videos if you're interested. How about you pick out some hand histories (real or hypothetical) and plug them into a converter, but plug in different turn cards/river cards/bet sizes/villain lines/villain types etc and discuss how we would play the hand/quiz how Alex would play the hand in all the various situations. I think it would really challenge Alex and really force some thinking and discussion that would be very beneficial. I think it would provide a good basis from which you could talk about a lot of theories and concepts etc. and it would make a nice change from video reviews as there are lots of videos like that already on DC (though the content is always good with you guys).

Alex-
I think overall you could play a lil more aggro in some spots as an overall game plan. You seemed a bit gun shy in certain spots. It seemed you would often show aggression pre flop and play fit or fold post flop. I think that as you move up you are going to just open you self up to being exploited as the player pool narrows. I'm not advocating spewing it up but to bloat pots and create dead money then not go after it seems sub optimal.
I dont want to point out 1 single hand but i think that times you have the lead in a hand and of then should be able to take the pot down w/ a bet you decide to check bc u dont have a made hand yet it seems. Dont get me wrong if you want to c/f in a pot when you have very littly equity when called thats fine and completly logical but when you have 6 and 8 out draws and you are handing the pot over to the villians by checking I think its a mistake. All that being said If you bet a flop as the pfr w/ had w/ equity like over cards or a open ender, you dont have to win the pot as much bc of the simnple fact when you are behind you stil lhave equity in the pot. Also bc of that when called you dont just have to barrell off.
I played w/ you at 100nl a while back and it seems that when the pot would get bloated you would feel obligated to it and just barrell off. We can avoid this by letting our equity protect us and the times we bet w/ equity and get called its really not that bad bc our play is going to be profitable inavaccum all the times villians fold and we improve on turns.
Misclick posted, but point being dont be afraid to bet w/ equity when you have the lead in a pot because giving up the lead gives up fold equity and in turn is giving up pot equity.

Hey just a quick note, please post your member videos in a new thread in the member video forum. We're trying to drive more traffic to that forum and get more people involved. Alex will be choosing to review one of the vids in that forum for his next episode.
And while you guys are at it, after you create a video, why not review someone else's member video?
Perhaps we can get a little more knowledge exchange going between RL:NLG fans in that forum, and if you're lucky, you can have alex review your vid too ![]()
I'll get to the other questions later today.
Thanks
WoT
