In this A4 3bet pot. I like your thinking of checking back to gain information. At the same token if you're playing with a bunch of regulars, I tend to bet this hand to keep information about our play at a minimum. But in this spot it's more profitable to know the fishes tendencies than to expose the fact that we are 3betting light. If this was early in the session and your 3bets were getting a lot of respect, would you be more inclined to keep that image and bet out his air?
A neutral image is the worst. You can't make use of it. With a good image you can get out of line, with a bad image you can stack people. There's nothing wrong with trashing an image. However, if a player is extremely vulnerable to bluffs, it's best to keep your image as clean as possible so you can keep exploiting his big leak for as long as possible. On the same token you want to keep paranoid/aggro players thinking you're playing back at them while in reality you've tightened up and adjusted your postflop strategies too. Just ask yourself what sort of image will benefit you the most. And always try to have a non-neutral image.

Grindcore, would you go over your thought process on table 5 w/ 34s. You bet 1/3 pot which could seems like you could be inducing, he c/r and bets turn. Generally check raise, bet turn is very strong, what guides you to the right decision to call the turn bet? His 1/2 pot size amount, the board texture? spill the expertise please.

If there's demand for it I can have DC put up the original video for this without commentary as well, and I'll just comment on questions people have.
This would be very interesting. Also is we can make wishes, another theory video like the first episode of "The thin red line" would be nice. Topic doesnt matter.

I completely overlooked this hand on table 5 during the commentary (thanks to Anonomous1 pointing it out). Everyone reading this should watch it if they missed it too.
When I undercbet and he checkraises he's extremely likely to be bluffing. I could click it back, but I think there's a good chance I can win some more money by "slowplaying my bluff". The turn is an overcard he's likely fireing his air at. I can shove here, or call and play the river, risking a bluff shove from him. I don't think he'll ever bluff shove the river, nor will he check there if he has what he was repping, so I get to play perfect on the river (put in no money when he has it, win the pot every time when he doesn't have it). Therefore I call instead of shoving. If I think he's extremely likely to bluff shove the river, I should have clicked it back on the flop.

Would it be possible for you to include some deep with antes games in future episodes? not sure if you play them but imo they are more interesting. Someone with your poker mind surely would excel in higher thinking games (not sure if you would regard them as higher thinking) and playing deeper is way more fun.
love the series so far btw.
There are no deepstack ante games on iPoker so I have no experience in them, so I think regular tables have higher educational value for a video. There are deep tables on iPoker but nobody plays them, so my deepstacked experience is largely against regs that don't know how to play deep stacked. I wouldn't know how the average deepstacked red plays on full tilt, but I do know how a 100bb reg plays when he doubles up and I cover. So I'm more comfortable playing regular tables. I'm sure I'd do well if I'd start grinding them, after which I could start making videos, but I'm not gonna switch sites.

Grindcore, there's nothing more I'd like to see on DC then a ghost video of you grinding your normal stakes/games. ie; I realize you play 400NL-1KNL, but clearly 1KNL is your main game - would it be possible to get you to make a live or review(audio after) video of you playing 1KNL? that way we could see how you are approaching situations versus very good (top of the food chain) regs, as opposed to just mediocore regs. I would like to see you playing versus extremely good players, i definitely think you are the best video producer on DC and being a paid subscriber for 2.5yrs now, I would very much appreciate this.
I want to also say great video, and great video series. you are excellent at conveying your thoughts and an exceptional player, thank you for your effort. 5/5

It's not in my interest to make 5/10 videos. My main coaching audience are SSNL regs trying to get to midstakes. All I'd do is help the regs I play against for a living.

Like these vids as well as the live commentary. Just switch between the two formats imo.
You talked about a DC short on donkbetting that was going to astonish the audience. Any idea on it's release date?
