what do you think is best option if our cbet gets raised on this board texture. Can we really just bet/fold?

With Emil and the crazy guy on the left table.
With the QQ isnt the raise size to small? I know its the nuts vs this fella but min raising OOP is surly asking for trouble?
I can see the logic as im sure he was leaving some dort of fold equity for the madman but in reality its pretty obv Emil has a monster imo.
Baluga says in the video that Emil is leaving himself room to fold if NextWorldChamp shoves over the top (which he'd only do with AA or sometimes KK I guess).

Hey Andrew, NxtWrldChamp here. Thanks for the shoutout ![]()
Let me defend myself a little bit here because i really dont think the play is as bad as you think it is. Rachagammons range is obviously extremely wide as weve seen before in this spot where she is squeezing. I would probably say her squeezing percentage in this spot is like 13% possibly even more.
I'm gonna go ahead and say that racha is then cbetting this board like 100% of the time given past experience. Now im risking like 1098 to win the 507 in the pot. When im called i would say i have roughly about 28% against a pretty loose calling range that represents appox. 7% of hands.
Now using a fold equity calculator i need her to fold 44% of the time given my equity and whatnot. And if she is squeezing 13% of hands and only calling me with 7% of them that means shes folding 46% of the time so i make like $15 with the play, with quite a bit of variance to go along with it. This is also assuming shes pretty much never folding any piece of the board. Also if you add KTs or KTo to her calling range(bc lol i have a double gutter and an overcard!) then my equity skyrockets and it makes the play even more profitable.
I realize it wasnt a great play but I certainly wouldnt say its terrible. Slightly -ev at worst and decently +ev in the best scenarios. See ya at the tables.

You mentioned that you would either check/fold or value bet river, but is check/calling really that bad? A King would often bet the turn, and when you check again on the river why can't villain be value betting JJ or TT, or turning ace high into a bluff or just be straight up delayed floating (i.e, float flop with air, checkback turn, and bluff river if hero checks river showing even more weakness).
BW,
Seems like Emil often cbets ~90% of pot on coordinated boards, I usually cbet much less in the 2/3 to 3/4 pot range, which do you prefer?
Also, on the last hand where Emil flops a set w/33 and shoves the river, I think the pot is too big too shove. The villain only has like 240 behind and the pot is over 700 I think, so most clubs will call and Emil is getting over 3:1 so I think calling is better than shoving.
All - we are looking for two (2!) lucky volunteers who have been watching Parallels 2. Next season (starts Monday, November 9), we'll be continuing the series but with a different approach --- Emil and Andrew will be coaching instead of playing. Each volunteer will appear in 3 videos (one coached by Andrew, one by Emil, and one by both at the same time).
First two subscribers to post in this thread will get the spots.

Even though he's getting such great odds, My line is really strong and has a lot of Ac in it. I think most good players will call for the right reasons here and not just because they are curious and getting good odds.

I'd call and probably make him fire at least one more barrel before I'm folding. Against nits you can just bet-fold.
