villain is 72/13/0.4 over around 100 hands, he's been playing like a gigantic fish clearly. I feel like I still have the best hand on the turn a lot, do I just check behind and fold a river? Bet the turn for a free showdown? What's best here?

I would bet for value and protection on the turn. I'd fold to any pressure though and plan on checking back the river.

Agree with Kwantum. He can call flop with all manner of trash - which includes overs and flush draws. You need to charge him for the river card. Nothing he has done so far says you are beat.
