Nice job guys!

checking can have some merrits vs. delayed floats.
But what you think @betsize, when you would have betted?
I would either Fakeblockbet, or bet larger (32-35$).
I mean, you saud that a worse hand like Kx, Villain will not often call on the ace-river.
But isn`t the Ace on the river a great card for us to rep a bluff?
not sure if this gets read anymore but i got a question about the QJ hand:
Do you think a guy like this will bet and call a smallish checkraise on the river with an ace? Because if he does a good % of the time we should def check the river as there are way more combos of Ax and missed draws then there are KQ KJ combos...
Also about the 88 hand: i noticed your cbet en turnbet weren't really big, personally oop on this type of board i bet a bit bigger with my whole range..

prob betting something stdish hoping Kx or Ax calls

if he can b/c Ax and bluff missed draws, that's def a great argument for c/r

Hey, just wanna to say - this was an amazing series - thanks you both very much![]()
A bit late here but I really enjoyed the series and hope to see more. Like Tecmo I think my biggest leak was not believing my opponents enough and leveling myself into bad calldowns and stackoffs when they were showing a lot of strength, so I think I rectified a lot of those issues thanks to you guys.
I would definitely like to see this series continue in the future though. Maybe a similar format from the perspective of another student with a whole different set of leaks for j3ka to fix. Having Tecmo back to continue his challenge of reaching and beating 400nl would also be good.
I just got through watching this series, and definitely enjoyed it. I feel like I learned a lot from the strategy discussions, and that some of my own thought processes have improved just from stopping and trying my best to answer the questions posed throughout. A lot of Tecmo's leaks, at least in the hands shown (as well as stationing out in general) seem all too familiar to me, and it didn't hurt that there was a lot of funny in this series as well. Would definitely love to watch more, and I just wish I'd been following during the original airing to participate in the quizzes (which was also a great touch).

I actually really like a turn bet here. I remember back in Josh's Razor's Edge series that paired turns on drawy boards are good cards to barrel. If we look at villain's range, a big part of it is made up of gutshots, flush draws, and weaker pairs. Almost all of his draws fold the turn, and a decent amount of his 7x/88/99/JJ type hands will fold here too. It would suck to get raised, but the types of hands that would raise us might have us drawing dead on the river anyway(AT/T9). I think the combination of fold equity + pot equity makes betting the turn a lot better.

there def are a number of hands that should fold. but there are tons of combos of Tx and Kx. would make for a good math exercise. doubt it's a fistpump either way
It's been a while but this needs another season!
The videos jk3a is involved in are definitely among the best on DC.
Tnx a lot for this series, but most of all that you were so kind to respond to my questions almost every episode! Really appreciate it. I defenitely have more confidence in my game right now.

I agree that most guys and def this nitty guy will fold 99-TT and almost always JJ, but I dont think anyone ever folds AK to a 4bet (even if its a cold 4bet) in the 200nl games today. So if hes now folding 99-JJ thats good for us.
Our equity against QQ+, AKs, AKo: 35.842%
So thats a close call to if curry shoves and uagrad fold?
