What's your image?
What are you repping here? A good bluff needs to tell a good story. I don't know what that story is in this hand. I'd be looking you up with as little as QQ or JJ.

MY image was neutral. It was at start of session. I realize the storyline is really non existent, however i wondered if QQ and JJ could muster a call, especially since villain didnt seem very "cally".
QQ/JJ might call you, but this is a very typical line for him to take with any Ax hand for pot control and he's going to snap you off a lot there I think.
I prefer a double barrel rather than checking then firing the river. Once he gets to the river, I think he's just so much more likely to call you down, but when you barrel the turn he has to wonder if you're going to shove the river too and any raise commits him as well. I think it accomplishes the same thing your river bet does but with more effectiveness.
A bet on the turn is much more believable here. I think Ax is looking you up here but would probably fold the turn to a sizable bet.
thanks
he must have folded JJ or something, but i like the fire the turn line better myself now.
Your hand looks exactly like what you have...I'd call with any A there.
I prefer the turn shove, or give up completely. You have showdown value, so there's not really much point bluffing the river. Usually you're not getting better hands to fold the river, and worse won't call you...so you're either getting snapped by hands that beat you, or you're bluffing with the best hand. Just shove the turn, or give up.
