I think I would end up calling this river bet with one pair in the villain's shoes. I may be a complete station, but it seems so unlikely that you would only bet $20 on the turn with a nine with such a draw heavy board. I do think this play will work a lot more with worse hand readers/weaker players.

What does he mean when he talks about his stats as 12:9 and how are these stats determined?

Traditionally the first two stats mentioned whenever discussing a player are VPIP and PFR. VPIP stands for Voluntarily Put $ In Pot and measures the % of hands a player plays preflop (but it doesn't count checking the BB). PFR stands for PreFlop Raise and measures the % of hands a player raises preflop. So, the smaller these #s are the tighter the player is, and the higher they are the looser the player is. 12/9 are particularly low and tight stats, so this player is probably a nit.

This question is for Vanessa regarding the 2nd hand in the video where you fold the JJ on the flop. I've played thousands of no limit hands but I'm sure you've played more then me. In my experience most players 3 bet an overpair when the player in the middle goes all in. If the pot was smaller he might try to keep you in but it was already pretty big and if he puts you on a draw type hand he would want to charge you the max. I though his range was most likely spades with 99, 77, AT, KT, JT also possible in that order.

Is my thinking way off? Do you see players flat with overpairs or sets in that spot on such a scary board?

On a separate note, say you agree with me and do put him on a flush draw. Do you then flat call and go or call all-in on any non spade turn? Or do you just over shove the flop?
