Wow, I literally just went out and bought a sub that I planned to eat while watching some sort of poker video. Like magic, here it is. I wonder if my sub made the video get uploaded around now, or if the video getting uploaded around now, somehow induced a sub requiring state. Long story short, it's impossible that these 2 events are unrelated (even though I spend most time with either a sub, or a poker video), and one definitely beckoned the other.

Well timed.

edit - I just read the delay thread, I think my sub did that. Sorry FWF.

FWF: I think you are wrong about the play of the shortstack: just openshoving with A6o sb vs bb is fine. If you check the sklansky-chubakov rakings you will see that it is +ev to turn your hand face up and still shove as long your stack is less then 560$ or so. Given the fact that Krantz can't play perfect against the SS because he is going to play against a range, and not a specific hand it should be clear that the shove is +ev.

i don't know how people play without the bet amounts displayed, let alone record a video without them. KRANTZ seems to be having a tough time with the logisitics this season.

also, where is the WMV?

+EV is not the same as maximal EV. i think with Axo in the sb and 20 bbs you can't do anything -EV, but that doesn't mean that one +EV play is as good as the other.

Imsakidd rather takes a small EV play with no thinking required than a bigger EV play which takes time to think about in play, he just wants to sleepy autobot his way to Supernova Elite.

FWF, you are far and away the best instructor on this site in terms of articulating your thoughts and considering all the elements that make a play good or bad. Keep it up.
