Villain is a weak player. VPIP 56, PFR 17 on 233 hands. His stats 'boop vs missed cb fl' - 22% (9), 'fold to cb fl' - 52%. Thought that if we check flop it will be more profitable. Then if villain bets turn, we will fold. We can save our money that we want to contbet flop. If villain bets turn he will mostly have a hand. Do you agree with this opinion?

the board is dry enough, that you want to cbet. Villains range is sooo wide (!), that you want to fold out equity or get value. There are plenty hands that you are ahead of, that will call, Ahigh a lot of the time, and many straighdraw: 98, J9, J8, 96(possibly), 65, 54, 64, AJ, A9, ...
and if he has KJ and fols, that is a win for you too, since he folds about 25% equity with two live cards.
Also, since it is unlikly for him to raise, you build the pot for when you hit an A or a Q later, or you can brl potentially.

A 1/2 c-bet can't be bad., especially when you can barrel Q/K/A. J might not be the best barrel card, since it hits his range (JT and 98s) quite well.

How can villains range be soooooo wide? He limps a lot and is raising 17%. this times he raises himself and calls a 3bet. Do we have any info about F3B? Looks like we are giving him a really wide range which isnt necessary the truth.

this.
you mentioned that a flop check is more profitable considering his stats - how come? You are getting a lot of value on the flop with what likely is the best hand if villain chooses to call with any of the above mentioned hands (or even worse). If he check raises the flop, donks turn, or check raises turn than you can usually evaluate your options pretty well IP considering his stats and the flow of the match up to that point...what is your read on villain up to this point? - has he been living up to his stats? anything out of line? have you been beating up on him? is he the kind of player to float with air or a worse Ahigh on the flop and then put a move on you on later streets? how would he play a ten here?

He will probably be wider from the CO (maybe not since he's a fish) and a 56/17 will likely continue vs a 3b with his whole range.
