1)
so this hand took place against an unknown reg that is more on the tight side, but no nit at all id say.
i tried to capitalize on his weaker range there, because i thought it was easier to gain value by x/r than having him decide how to continue on turns. this way it will be much harder to bluff me later on and his plays are more down to aiming for implied odds blabla..

i post this, because i do not know wether this is good at all lol. what do you think? and what about the sizings?

BTN: $1000.00
SB: $603.10
Hero (BB): $1046.40
UTG: $618.05
MP: $400.00
CO: $531.85

Pre Flop: ($6.00) Hero is BB with K Club K Heart
3 folds, BTN raises to $12, 1 fold, Hero raises to $42, BTN calls $30

Flop: ($86.00) T Heart 7 Club 6 Diamond (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $52.00, Hero raises to $125

(i continued to bet turn Q and checked river Q)

2) i played this hand for the same reasons i played hand 1 the way i did, but this time we are in position against a reg that is kinda bad? he is winning afaik, but made a horrible valueshove few hands earlier. he has good technical abilities, but looks like once you apply pressure on him he goes nuts and levels himself (he admitted that in chat lol)

SB: $1464.00
BB: $500.00
UTG: $538.55
MP: $419.25
Hero (CO): $500.00
BTN: $247.75

Pre Flop: ($3.00) Hero is CO with J Club J Heart
2 folds, Hero raises to $6, 1 fold, SB calls $5, 1 fold

Flop: ($14.00) 3 Heart 6 Club 2 Diamond (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $10.00, SB raises to $30, Hero raises to $60, SB calls $30

(i continued to bet turn and made a mistake on the river Poke Tongue)

Nobody?! We discussed that first hand already via skype and I disliked the check on the flop in the first hand. But I´d love to hear further opinions. duffte laid out his thought process and I think it´s interesting.

In some situations I don't mind the flop x with the intention of xc (multiple streets).

I would consider a xr if villain was tilty, fight for every pot type of player - but I would hardly ever do it with this weak a hand..

1) This is a good flop for the preflop caller and a bad flop for the 3bettor in general. I think checking strong hands solves a lot of problems for both your otherwise too strong cbetting range and too weak checking range. So I like it as default play unless you think you can exploit by cbetting. Wether x/c or x/r is best largely depends on what your perceived range is when you take either line and also what villain is capable of. Is he capable of trying to bluff people from overpairs? Is he capable of bluffing for 250bbs? Does he think you're capable of making moves? Almost readless and with no info it's really hard to comment on deep play since whatever you do, it can be exploited and people play much less alike with deep stacks than with 100bbs so all generalisations go down in value.

2) In general I like fastplaying strong hands against such players as they just throw stacks at you at such high frequencies. It's a bit riskier if the chat was recent though because he might also level himself in terms of how the chat influences your play and might as a result think you're depolarized here and thus has you on your exact handtype and can play perfect.

you know, i thought about x/c but thought he might just check behind on later streets, but vbet better hands. and that's too easy, so i tried to make him put a larger amount in with his entire betting range there + air to maximize ev. even if villain would want to bluff me off overpairs, i think he would do good job defining his own range there..

btw hand 1) villain had 99, hand 2) 55, rivered straight x/c x/c x/r
