Think I butchered this hand...
Should I be 3betting the flop and calling a shove (assuming that he could have called with AK pre-flop, is spazzing out with KQ, or semi-bluffing with a draw?)?
Comments on any street appreciated.
think calling the flop is best. it is not really drawy except QT makes an oesd, but thats it. i would shove the turn tho, with TJK out there you dont want to see an A, Q or 9 which makes 12 cards.
do you think he'd 3bet either KK or JJ?
if he 3bets those, then stack off here for sure by c/r all in on turn bc you only lose to 66
if he doesn't, its much grosser, obv its hard for him to have KK/JJ cuz he'd need the case cards, but he is repping big hand here hard. I'm not sure I could fold this though.
Why is check/raising all-in on the turn better than 3betting/calling shove on the flop?
do you think he'd 3bet either KK or JJ?
I think he is 3betting KK pre-flop, but probably calling behind with JJ considering how tight he is (or maybe he thinks that I wouldn't be calling with worse OOP).
Why is check/raising all-in on the turn better than 3betting/calling shove on the flop?.
it gives him another chance to bluff when he is on air
I'd put him on JJ/66 most of the time by pf action. I'd hope that he'd 3-bet AK and KK pf, but I've seen nits flatting with these hands also.
So it is a difficult decision - AK could be played this way, so I think we might have to call, combined with the fact that there are only 2 case jacks and 2 case kings in the deck.
It's a horrible spot though....way ahead or way behind.
