I usually only play NL100 but spotted two tables that seemed ok and decided to take a shot for two buyins.

At this point I have just sat down and villain in this hand is definately not the reason I chosed this table since I have seen him play some NL400-1.000 a lot where he seems to do fine.

His stats are 19/15/6 over 284 hands but almost all of them are datamined.

Maybe a weird hand to post, but first of all I dont know whether I should just fold pre since he is a good player and I am OOP ? But I would like some comments to all streets

Hero (CO): $197.00
BTN: $303.00
SB: $317.55
BB: $167.45

Pre Flop: ($3.00) Hero is CO with T 9
Hero raises to $6, BTN raises to $15, 2 folds, Hero calls $9

Flop: ($33.00) 5 Q J (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $16.50, Hero calls $16.50

Turn: ($66.00) 7 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN checks

River: ($66.00) 9 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN checks

Even though the 3bet is kind small i'm folding this pf OOP.

I also don't like the c/c on the flop. Once again, OOP i'm just c/f here.

Ok cool thanks. Just what I wanted to hear because I have always thought something like that I can never fold a hand like 9Ts to such a small reraise. But guess I have to reevaluate that though ;-)

I think if you are comfortable postflop, calling a 3bet this small is perfectly fine, but if he makes it 20 I like 4bet or fold

i can't lay "big pot hands" likee T9s etc. down to those weak 3bets and i think i might have a small leak here. i think if you are confident that you are the better player postflop calling is okay, if you dont think youre better you can lay it down.

flop is kinda tricky and i would take image, history and more detailed stats into consideration here. actually you only make AK and TT fold (probably) when raising so i guess calling is good here unless history etc. dictates other but i assume you dont have a lot history so call is fine. on the turn i would check and simply see if i can draw for the right price.

no reason to get involved OOP like this against a player who is likely better than you imo
