results: i called and he had KKK and made an interesting turn check.

given that he was capable of checking the turn with KK, i think i like the way i played the whole hand. c/c river is a viable line as well given my flop play.

obv 99% of the time i c/c flop.

River bet is taking it too far. Given the history I don't think xorbie takes the bait often enough, unless he's tilted. But I don't really know what his B/C game is like.

Haven't read the thread yet, but it looks like you're pretty much owning him by playing standard and by playing in position. So why would you get so out of line OOP? I'd just keep checking and keep guessing between call/fold probably. I mean, the only reason to go nuts on the flop is to make HIM go even more nuts. So why are you asking for time on the river? I feel like you HAVE to snap that shit off once you get there like that. I mean, unless the 5 made his hand, why isn't he betting the turn? But of course xorbie can do that random stuff sometimes...

I really like Hand 1 against most players. Against someone super suspicious and tricky I thinking checking shows a higher EV since he is often betting a larger amount and if he bets small he is calling it.

Hand 2 is super standard.

Hand 3 I do not like your hand selection. I would much much rather have A2 than KQ here. Xorbie is smart enough to recognize stack sizes and 3B this flop to encourage action as well. Cutting his Top pair combos by a third significantly alters his valuing range.

On the river as long as you can show up with a monster in a spots like this often enough you can make him indifferent to bluff raising you without ever having to call with Kx type hands. If you are taking this line you need to either show up with monsters or be prepared to call some bluff shoves with the hope he hasn't figured this out. Also, I would size the river bet smaller. I like betting 1/3 pot like you did in the 32s hand. It will fit very well assuming that hand has already happened.

U obv have to snap call the last hand river.

Villains range is somewhat heavily weighted towards draws, u bet to induce. U induced now call.

I don't understand the point of betting the river in hand #3 if you aren't calling a shove, what is he really going to flat you with that you are beating, KT that he reraised your flop c/r with? or 98 that caught a pair on the turn? seems pretty unlikely
