The quality on the live stream is really poor for me, downloading the MP4 and WMV now to see if those are better.
edit: both downloads are meh aswell.. I think they had some routing issues so they lowered the quality in teamviewer to have it run smoother. A bit too much though coz you cant see the numbers/names.

a lot of great content but the ipoker names/stack sizes are unreadable. it's a bit disorienting.
Looks like it was recorded via Teamviewer, which dumbs down the graphics for bandwidth reasons, unless you go into options and choose best quality.

Hey guys,
sorry about the video quality. The next part with whitelime, baluga and I was recorded by myself and should be super clear and good to watch.
The content of this video is really really good. I would suggest to anyone watching this and focusing more on the audio than the actual video.
Any questions about certain spots where you probably have trouble figuring out the stack sizes, ask them here and I will answer them.

you say he'sfrom france, but i dont hope you base any decision on that? Everybody can set their home country to whatever they prefer. Besides that it is dumb to base decisions on your opponenent's nationality.
I always check where someone is from to gain extra information about the player. For instance Italian players like to let everyone know where they are from ("Roma", "Italia"). So we can clearly assume that he's less likely to fold and more likely to run a crazy bluff on us.
Of course we don't just base our decision on that but it's a nice bonus when we see someone for the first time. You will notice through this and the next part that my assumption that he's a weaker player is absolutely correct.
Here is a quote of whitelime from the past episode:
If you don't use the country that someone's from as information to make your decision, you are leaving a lot of money on the table. I can't remember a single big pot I've played against a relative unknown where I haven't moved my mouse over there screenname to see what country they are from. I've even gone as far as timebanking on pokerstars so I could google the player's city location to figure out what country it's in.

I agree with insyder here, I play a lot at ongame where you cant see locations so I watch out for anyone speaking French and make a note accordingly.

but on ipoker one can set their county of origin to whatever they prefer. Scandi's and Dutch people, usually set thir country as "france". So, unlike most people do at Stars or FT, people can manipulate this very easily.
Sure, it helps. But unless youre sure they are from a certain country, its dumb to let your decision be influenced on something people can change so easily.

Isn't this actually Episode 11? What happened to Emil reviewing the uNL player IValueYou from Episode 9?
The original Episode 9 with Whitelime reviewing the micro player became a mentor video and we renamed the videos for consistency. Sorry for the confusion.

Great video, as usual good discussion when you put together two excellent players. Especially liked the discussion on the read-based adjustments on the player that we saw floating OOP with QJ OOP on the monotone board at the beginning of the video.
