Blah234 chose to stop wasting money at 4NL and learn the game of poker. After a year of learning from his peers and teachers on DeucesCracked.com we've paired him in a series with Ansky so that he can grow further and teach those stuck in the low-mid stakes like he used to be.

hey guys, on the last hand with aa on 2q2q4, why would you c/r? does it just look bluffy to rep a Q? do players call c/r there with say 88 or 99?

really hate this river cr plan. He doesnt bet his mid pp's a lot of the time because that IS his percieved range and the combination of decisions means its likely a value cut. Please can we discuss a good line for this hand against following villains : nit, solid aggro thinking reg, aggro fish.

Hi Ansky, you said vs. this c=bet on AJT you like raising the lower flush draws, what's the difference between having 68s which you said you'd like to bluff raise here vs 89s of clubs per se. 89s has better equity and it doesn't have any SD value like A9 flush draw etc....I can write a book here about this hand but I'll spare you :-) and just ask why you like raising with 68 of clubs vs. this c-bet.

-Thank You.

Can you rephrase your question/ entire post? I really have no idea what you are trying to say.

Some people can just never show up with Qx here so I'd consider c/r with AA. Vs most though you are right bet/fold is best.

I don't necessarily agree that he "almost never has a Q"...why can't he have a Q? If he has a Q,
it's debatable whether he can even get 2 more streets of value from a hand like AA (let alone worse hands). I think the optimal line against your range should be to check behind turn in hopes that you either a) catch a piece on the river or b) decide to bluff at the river. Since he's probably only getting 1 more street of value anyway, why should he bet the turn and blow out all unpaired hands out of the water? I think he plays Qx like this almost every time as I don't see any big incentive for him to bet the turn.
