I am interested in discussion of the 67 hand, seems like you can rr way smaller and have the same effect, why did you make it so big?

you're prolly right, i def think 3200 would be a better bet size.

Just wanted to let you know, if you didn't already, that your "last hand history" is screwed up, at 28:15 in the video you check last hand, and it gets the suits mixed up. storkdelamork has a 3c and the board also has a 3c.

ya i know i messed up the card mods so now i can pretty much only have the tables be one size, and my HH is always changing the suits.

really disliked this video. i see no reason to bet the t9 hand where you even allude to saying that it is a terrible card but you bet anyway. what could you possibly hope to fold on the turn? next time allude that you were planning on 3barrelling to fold out his 66, 88, etc as that is the only reason i can come up with that you bet.

67 hand you say that you are fine with people sucking out on you, and you don't think you are folding out 88, so you bet? makes no sense. I guess your plan was to induce a bluff check/raise so you can bluff 3bet. makes perfect sense.

on the flop i say that i will have to fire 2 barrels if i want to have any chance of folding out 66 or a seven, and his range is certainly wider then that for calling my flop bet.
if i check the turn i let him know 100% that i have nothing and then i will have no chance of winning the pot with a bet on the river.

there's nothing wrong with giving up on pots, but if you plan on trying to bluff you have to play the hand in a credible way to represent what you are trying to.

and i'm not sure how much deepstacked poker you've played but 88 isn't exactly a monster on a 7hi board when 200bb+ deep...

also its totally fine that you dont see any reason to play a hand the way that i do, i didnt make this video to try and give you a blueprint for how to play, and to just blindly play like i do.
the point of the video was to give you a diff way to look at the game, and some new concepts and strategies to consider, and since you would never play a hand in that fashion looks like i succeeded!

cheers.

ps. to all the others who made positive comments thanks for the feedback guys!

not sure if you know this as I only found it out by accident one day.

In Holdem Manager, if you click on the $xx.xx part of the last won pots at the top of the screen it puts the cards back up on the screen for a few seconds again. Likewise clicking on the name part brings up a rather horrid HH (they really need to stop putting card gfx in that and use symbols or letters).

Nice job RBK! I do think you misplayed a few spots but it was very interesting to see you get in there and mix it up. The 3 bet bluff on the turn vs eric is clearly bad imo. The bet size is too big, you can make easily make it a bit smaller and still carry the same fold equity while saving yourself money when he shoves. There were a couple others that I was wondering about but can't remember ATM...loved it overall though

RBK - used to watch you all the time on live@thebike & always wanted to know your thought process.. Great video - please make more.. I play mostly live & this was great stuff.. Thanks

I used to watch this all the time but I never remember seeing RBK on there.

give RBK a "movin' on up"-style deep series where he plays a bunch of stakes deep.

Really grate video, would be nice with more deep stack videos Smile

In the QQ against TT hand, how would you play AK? would you bluff the river?

i dont think i would take that line with AK.
i would prolly re-raise preflop since i was the UTG raiser i think i have a huge amount of fold equity.

i played on the debut episode and then after that whenver the game was 25/50 or bigger...i didnt play in the smaller games.
there was an episode where we played 100/200 and i think one where we played 200/400 (gabe thaler, me, mike binger, jeff cabanillis).

i also stopped playing on the show altogether after the HU tourney they did, out of protest to what i felt was a horrible decision.

When you posted in 2p2 that we should expect a deep vid coming up I was hoping it would be by you. Didnt fail to disappoint. I really liked how you addressed right off the bat how important turn play becomes in ds play. If you do future vids I'd really appreciate more comments on this ie perhaps different lines you could take on the turn and why.
