wow I was so bad at poker a year ago.
What did you end up doing in the hand?

I tank folded, but really this is the easiest call ever.

pussy
Since it is bvb and you are the bb you have ultimate position pre flop and all future streets its 4 handed (wider ranges) wouldn't a decision to 3 bet pre flop yield valuable information that would polarize villains range as a result of the action pre, otf, ott, otr? Or is A9os only good enough to call with in position w/o reads?

What changed in your understanding of the game to make it an easy call now?

Just studying a ton and thinking about my perceived range.image more.
Could you explain your thought process then? Considering the various points discussed in the thread, I still find the decision very close.
I find the original post of NoWayFolding very clever ; however, even though Vilain can't rep too many value hands, it seems like a gross spot to bluff + the sizing of the CR is somewhat concerning, as Duffte mentioned. IDK, would vilain really bluff so often knowing it will be tough for you to give him credit?
This is why knowing how vilain might perceive you (for instance, if you're a 'river nit') could be very relevant.
Obv I'm a small-midstakes grinder, and am not used to high stakes dynamics, but I would really love to understand more about this hand
