Have to agree with Poemmel.

It wasn't only distracting for me, I can't imagine it not being distracting for FWF. Playing Blackjack just because you get bored can't be the solution.

Obviously I'm not going to tell a successful player like FWF how to handle his sessions, but it sets a bad example for everybody who tries to get away from IMing or watching TV to concentrate on the game.

Still going to give it 5 stars because of the awesome content

I'm sorry if it distracted you, I thought most people would find it entertaining during the times when I'm not involved in a hand and figured if you didn't like it you just wouldn't watch the blackjack action.

As for its effects on me, I get bored 3-tabling and can definitely still focus on the games even if I'm playing blackjack during the hands in which nothing interesting is going on.

I obviously don't recommend playing blackjack during a session, but I was doing it for entertainment purposes.Definitely don't try this at home folks

FWF, Great video once again.

Admittedly, you 3-bet a lot, especially out of the blinds.

1) What do your 3-bet stats look like from the blinds and not in the blinds? And are they comparable to other 6-max regs' 3-bet stats?

2) When you squeeze with hands like K-10 OOP and get called. Do you ever get in trouble after flopping top pair? Any tips you can share in these sort of spots?

I don't want to give away my 3bet stats, sorry. They're pretty high though I'm not going to break it down by position.

2) I think people forget that they can exercise pot control deep when they rr and hit a top pair that probably won't be good in a huge pot. You can bet and then check or bet twice and then check the river and play poker.

As for 100 BB deep, if I'm playing good opponents I assume they're calling with hands like 9T-TQ so if I flop top pair of Ts I try going 3 streets of value. With KT on Kxx I normally play the same I would with the rest of my range, which involves going for value on boards where I bluff and checking on boards where I normally give up with air

In this video you say you don't like to 3bet the button that much, and I've heard you say it a few other times as well. Do you mean with a specific type of hand, ie AJs type hands that can't call a 4bet or do you mean in your overall game plan? If it is the former obv I understand that, but as for not 3betting the button a lot overall, most of the theory I have read say the button is the position we should be 3betting the most in by far.

thanks

I can't get into every hand breakdown, but here's the theory: you want deepstacks in position and shortstacks out of position. Ideally if you were in the small blind the stack-sizes would be a small blind and you'd be effectively all-in since that would negate positional advantage and you'd have a million to one stack to pot ratio in position so that your position can be best used. The idea is that position gives you information and the more signals there potentially are in a hand (i.e. the more bets that can go in and signals of strength to be interpreted) the more you can use your information to better respond to this information.

Thus I take hands that are playable in position to the flop more often but 3-bet them to negate the positional disadvantage (and regain the betting lead)

And here I thought I was the only one who found the blackjack content more interesting than the poker content.

I thought the blackjack was pretty funny along with the general demeanor, 'and this is an easy stack off.. and I lose twenty thousand dollars.'

When you overbet shove AJ on the turn for value, are there any hands he calls with that you beat? Would he really stack off with TPTK? Otherwise it's sets and a higher 2pr.

find somewhere the house doesn't stand on 17, and hit on soft 17 (A&6). these rules are destroyers of BJ +eV
