sup ppl,

hero is taking a shot at 25/50. I'm a regular in the 5/10 games and have played more and more 10/20 over the past couple of weeks.

UTG is a huge donator playing 55/20 over almost 1k hands. he always minraises first-in and folds a ton to my isolation raises. He's a weak-passive-station postflop.

BTN is a regular in 10/20+ and probably calls a ton OTB.

Hero is relatively unknown to the table, played a couple of 10/20 hands with BB. been isolating / peeling a ton in position vs the fish, no out of line hands.

Villain(SB) is a well known 2+2 poster and probably one of the toughest opponents on this network. he's VERY loose in general, especially ip. like 40/30 in 5 handed games. he does'nt 3bet/squeeze a ton. I've seen him getting out of line vs BB earlier this session.

Ongame Network $5000.00 No Limit Hold'em - 5 players - View hand 295970
The Official DeucesCracked.com Hand History Converter

BTN: $5769.00
SB: $18401.00
BB: $5219.00
UTG: $17943.00
Hero (CO): $5641.00

Pre Flop: ($75.00) Hero is CO with K Heart Q Spade
UTG raises to $100, Hero raises to $350, BTN calls $350, SB calls $325, 1 fold, UTG calls $250

Flop: ($1450.00) K Spade J Heart 2 Club (4 players)
SB bets $1200.00, UTG folds, Hero calls $1200, BTN folds

Turn: ($3850.00) T Diamond (2 players)
SB bets $16851.00, Hero folds

looks like an easy fold to me, but had like a bad feeling about it. maybe it's just the fact that this is at higher stakes than usual.

It is a good fold. You call with one player left to act and are almost never weak on the turn => fewer bluffs in SB range. So unless you think he is starting a leveling war with you it's muck.

I would avoid leveling wars when taking shot. They are super marginal spots best case.

also this applies in general but especially when taking a shot - why would you 3bet isolate so much with hands like yours if he keeps folding? it's nice to get him hu some of the time, but if he's going to fold K8o or whatever, i'd rather have him call, flop a K, and lose his stack to me when i use position to own him postflop by doing super obvious stuff like raising small on the K73 flop to define his hand or w/e.
