Oh my, fold pre, that is first grade NLHE, especially if you are considering folding this flop.

Fold pre? did you see stacksizes/multiwayness?

I'm FR NL100...but yeah set mining this deep is fine. But if you want to lower variance, then 22 isn't the hand to do it with because you can end up set over set so easily.

As played, get it in.

...exactly the key point in this hand!
sure 100bb fold pre, next hand

but with 2 guys beeing deep with me and closing the action, having the button and a pair folding isn´t standard play imo! so we "need" to see this flop in this setup, postflop is more the critical point here imo, the sb cbet can be a lot, but what about the utg call?? it looks strong but i wasn´t that confident it has to be a set (he could flat like TT-JJ+ here too imo), after my raise and his shove price is so that i cant find an exit...
where (if) went something wrong?

Totally standard, I'm never folding a set on the flop in a reraised pot without way deeper stacks than this.

The problem here is that UTG could easily also have 66/99, so the only question is whether he is the type to not know how to play QQ/KK/AA here and just shove it thinking to himself that you can't have a big pair yourself or if he is the type to realize that such a hand is a bluff catcher at this point.

Not sure I really like the flop raise either, it's not terrible because you may as well get the money in, but I wonder how you would play AK or 78 in this spot...

Yeah this is fine, and I definitely don't mind the call preflop. I do think I would be calling this flop a pretty large percentage of the time though considering how you would be playing most other hands in this spot. It is somewhat player dependent though.

Either way, nice hand. Sorry you got coolered.

i prefer flatting the flop. you want AK/AQ to catch up so you get more dead money in the pot.

or you want an overpair not to fold before the board gets too messy, and so you raise now.

if the SB is sitting on AA is he really expecting us to valueraise worse and/or bluff this flop multiway?

Probably not really expecting it, but on the other hand; do you expect someone folding an overpair in a huge 3bet pot 100bb deep?

Does UTG ever show up here with AA? He just calls the squeeze from SB with 2 people still left to act, basically inviting them into the pot. I just don't see anyone doing that with a big pair. Then he smooth calls an absurdly dry flop when SB cbets, then shoves over hero's raise that is NEVER a bluff. How is his range anything other than 66 and 99? I'm not saying I'd be able to fold bottom set in game, but are there really any other hands that he'll ever show up with?

Yeah dude, if you ran into an overset that just sucks, you really just cant fold once you get there. You played it fine
