KRANTZ returns for episode six of 2 months 2 million. This week he is joined by DC coach DJ Sensei from San Francisco, CA.
Two months. Two million. No problem. That's Team Israel's goal for the summer in Vegas. Watch Jay help hit it. This ongoing series is an in-depth look at his life during the shooting of whitelime, flawless_victory, Ansky and KRANTZ's forthcoming reality TV show (filming in Vegas this summer and airing on G4 in late August). Jay will play and analyze hands he's actually playing while on television, using an aggressive bankroll management strategy to climb from 5/10 and 10/20 back to the nosebleeds. Can he make it? We have faith. They don't call him pr1nnyraid for nothin'.

excellent stuff
Can we officially start calling Dan "DJ Pop-up" as he seems to be popping up all over the place.
Also, do you think you could get the folks from either "Inside poker" or "Poker player" (UK mags) to run a feature on this with the permission of G4 once it has run or is running so those of us out side of the UK can get the highlights of it? It would be great to read an interview on it.

This is absolutely a fold preflop. With the stacks, position is irrelevant and you are not getting the odds if you think he has Aces most of the time.

+1 imo. if you're in hollink's spot and there's 2 calls in front it's closer, but I definitely fold here.
This was excellent stuff. more pls ![]()

34 on 34QTx river spot, you're fireing a 3rd barrel, 1850 into 2422, most likely folding to a jam. You said afterwards most people don't really have a callingrange in that spot, either CRAI or fold. Wouldn't it be a good idea to bet something like 1200 or even 800 in that spot? Having a depolarized valuebetting range against an opponent that's likely gonna raise-fold and not call often seems bad. By betting smaller you kinda force him to have a callingrange again, allowing you to make thin valuebets again.

Another hand where you 3barrel the same opponent again. Given the huge ammount of extra draws turning, and all of them missing, and your sreenname, and you having 3barreled him like 2 orbits ago in the 34o hand and getting a fold, wouldn't it be better to just give up? Even if your range is so balanced that he's making a -EV call with a ten, given that you just 3barreled him recently, it just felt like you'd get looked up alot to me.
And given the drawyness of the board, presumably he's not slowplaying anything, right? So if his range on the river is mainly Tx or 99, what about overbetting with a balanced range? The larger bet allows you to have a higher bluffing frequency, so if he has a bluffcatcher 100% of the time, an overbet has the highest EV with your range. He needs to slowplay monsters on the turn for a river overbet to be a bad idea on this board, right? Which he probably isn't doing...
Im pretty sure that kuhnigget is a word from one of the Monty Python films, Holy Grail i think. If it is, Krantz' pronunciation was the right one.
I watched some of the vids on g4. May I just say that ur war room is soooo coooool!!!!! Best idea ever.

I was just saying how a really good player probably shouldn't have a calling range there. But tons of players do and will call with worse, so you want to bet bigger.
