You only have a bluff catcher. the question isnt if you want to call or raise, the real question is: do you want to call or fold. do you think he is bluffing 3 streets? very unlikely. the only hand a fish could play like that would be AK (only 6 combos and I expect him to bet bigger on the flop). you are deep so its not unlikely that he has: 98s, 87s, 22, 88 in his range (8 combos). with his preflop stats he could even have some additional 8x hands in his range. if he is as passive as his preflop stats look like, its a fold.

I totally disagree with you here.

Villain alwmost always has a K.

Its possible he has an 8, however I seriously doubt he has a set (just because the pot is 3 way, its a 3bet pot, and he doesnt have teh initiative so I expect him to c/c or c/r a set)

With an 8 I really think he would either fold preflop (with a lot of them) or check them on the flop.

Therefore I would play it the same as you and yes I would raise the river too.
While an 8 is possible I also think there are more combos of kings than 8's

i think you have the best here very oftenu but still i just call. you all just talk about villians range but think for a second of your perceived range and worse hands than your actual hand that calls against this range. your range here is basically AA KK AK K8 88 and any 8 the ocassional k2s or 22. i do not see him ever thinking u can be bluffing here since the board is ultra dry. against this range every hand you could gain value from is crushed. so even with ak he must realise that he only calls for potsplit or to catch a sick sick 3 street bluff. since you cannot get value from worse hands and have to fear to be behind, imho best option is to call. this all applies only to a thinking player of course.

Raising river seems standard to me; if you don't play for stacks here against a donk you are leaving so much money on the table.

+1

56/5 player we're very happy to get all our chips in here. OK, he can have K8 or a set, but these are absolutes.

Where do you find 56/5 players at this level anyway? You think he won a MTT and is pissing the chips away at the cash tables?

I might like a turn raise vs this villain if the 8 didnt pair, since when that happens the only bad river card in the deck for you is a king. (so you might as well let him keep betting just incase hes FOS)
