Yes!! Love learning from Ansky.
Ansky is playing 4 tables of $5/10 6max NLHE while N0whereman picks his brain about his choices.
Ever watch a strategy video and notice a coach glossing over preflop plays or river calls or 4-bet bluffs? No more, not with n0whereman looking out for you. He has the questions. Ansky has the answers.

Why should villain bet the river with 77? Can he really expect to have the best hand 50%+ when called?

Question on the check back w/ 52s here. You say that you are a little more likely to check this back since you have more cards that you can peel a turn bet with. But isn't this at the same time a very good argument for betting? Now you got better equity w/ you 52s semi bluff.
Video quality is pretty bad. Great discussion though.

Ya this is spot. Really good discussion, but the video and some of the audio was pretty choppy, which made some spots hard to follow.

Yeah, unfortunately there were tons of technical problems w/the recording of this vid -- we're hoping to address them in future episodes to make everything a lot better production quality wise.

I know its an isolated case but vs Nicolak he's actually probably thinking the exact opposite of what you said.
He will not put you on a hand stronger than 7x and he will fire 3 some %.

25s vs 77
Two questions:
(a) If villian bets the river what range is he representing? Can you credibly raise the river having checked flop and turn?
If his range is going to be mostly single pair medium strength hands - but your range is face up weak - is there any merit in raising the river given you cannot obviously call here.
(b) If you bet $30 on the river with 25s - can villian credibly c/r the river vs what looks like a transparent thin value bet? outside of strong value bets what should he c/r here? e.g if he cannot bluff catch AQ can he bluff it?
Should villian c/c 77 or c/r it? If he c/r it is for value or exclusively a bluff?
I guess thats more than two questions but u see what I mean...
Thanks for the video guys - even though I prolly will never play these games soon - I love the content.
finally some Ansky rolling!!!

Yes, certainly. How can I have a better hand given the line I took?

That's like 7 questions ![]()
He is representing a bluff or a mid pair type hand trying to get value from either AK/AQ or something like what I have.
I probably wouldn't raise river since I'm basically representing exactly A5, but he knows I probably just bet flop with that.
I don't think he should c/r 77, it's a perfect hand to just bet with. C/r is pointless, c/c is obviously 2nd best to bet, he has the best hand enough but not enough when he raises.

Very good performances from both contributors to this vid.
