Hi guys, it's my first time posting here, and anyway I found a hand and what Tom Dwan said interesting during the first episode of HSP S5, btw, if you wanna check it out, it starts at the 21.52 in the episode. So here goes, at blinds of $400/$800 and ante of $200
Peter Eastgate raises to $2500 in MP2 with A
6
and picks up 3 callers with Tom Dwan with 7
6
at BB.
Flop comes: 6
5
3
SB checks, Tom Dwan(BB) bets $7,700 into $11,4600.
Peter Eastgate(MP2) calls $7,700 to make a $27,000 pot.
Everyone else folds.
Turn comes : 6
Tom Dwan(BB) bets $20,200 into $27,200, Peter Eastgate(MP2) calls.
River comes: K
Tom Dwan(BB) bets $53,900 into $67,400, Peter Eastgate(MP2) calls.
Then, Tom Dwan gets shocked and when Peter Eastgate asked whether he should've reraised, Dwan said that he should have.
Now my question is that, do you guys think it would be legit for Peter to reraise there? Imo, 74s and 42s would have been close to the btm of Dwan's preflop calling range, but he could also have pocket 3s pocket 5 and 56s.
Hope you guys will answer my question! Thanks alot! I'm just starting to learn about poker recently haha!
