Okay game is pretty good a ton of older fish and its playing 6max or 7 right now it started off at 10/20 then we made it a ''mandatory''ish straddle (dont think you had to but people would yell at you if you were a nit) then rich fish randomly demands we just make it 20/40 "'because its to much hassle'

dude in question is a a young ish internet kid probably about 22-24 maybe 25/26 but i doubt it. I got the feeling this is a bit of a shot for him as he moved from 5/10 and i gather was up a ton in that game as he sat down with about 11/12k saying that its a bit of a shot for him i did not get the impression it would be the end of the world for him to go busto in the game so i think he probably plays 5/10 - 10/20 online he did look slightly nervous when he sat down with his chips and said hello to everyone.

How people view me

I think at the start people thought i was a bit of a joke for example i walked in the security really embarrassed me about changing my shoes ( i was wearing thongs/flip flops) i asked if there was a weight list for the 10/20 the floor manager laughed at me and said ''its a 2k buy in kid are you even old enough'' i then proceeded to do the most douchebagery comment of my life and say ''well actually its an 800 pound buy in but....''
i then take out 20k from my awesome element backpack ive had since i was 14 he then changes his whole tone and is kissing my ass then gets me chips and puts me in the game.

The only reason im telling that is the kid saw this whole thing happening as he was laughing mad hard about it while playing a hand so he obviously knows i am 99% likely to be a reg at similar stakes online and possibly of played together before without knowing it. The card room is a pretty shitty room in the north by vegas standards its somewhat of a shit hole granted i haven't played in Vegas but ive seen the rooms the bit where this game was going on was the nicest part but the same as where they put you for playing 2/5 in vegas at the belagio or aria.

The game according to the local players was the biggest in a long time in this particular place the people in the game started calling me ''the crazy kid'' i have been involved in a few 20k pots once i lost one i won both of them were fairly standard the dude saw them because people crowded round and i don't think they would have changed his judgement on me.

How he played

i didn't have any particular reads on him he was playing well 3betting in good spots isolating the fish A LOT we had largely stayed away from each other except i 4bet bluffed him and im pretty sure he knew.

Stacks are he has like 10-11k

Your range; some missed draws (98s, 86s, A3s type of hands), TT/JJ+, maybe some barrels with missed broadways, some straight or maybe trips combo's.

His range: sets, A7s, 88-QQ, maybe KK/AA, maybe A2s/A4s, maybe AK

What he thinks you have; probably roughly the same as what I'm thinking...

What I'd call with; depends a bit on how good I think villain is. Would not be a crazy spot to try to turn some marginal showdown in a bluff trying to rep a set.

Agree, JJ/TT and lower are all marginal. But imo people are more inclined to call/fold JJ/TT and more inclined to bluff/fold 88/7x/66

Even stuff like QQ/KK or even AA he could be getting pretty scared with i thought there might be a possibility of him doing something like this with that kind of hand in order to get me to fold like AA or something similar.

How did the kid see you enter the casino when you said you saw him sit down with his chips looking nervous?

I'd be careful when assuming this villain is thinking on your level. A call with any 1 pair hand needs him to be able to turn a made hand into a bluff and while it's possible I don't think it's a given. And if we thought he was able to do this we should consider c/c all those 1 pair hands on the river. Another thing, is he really going to give you enough credit to fold an OP here getting 3 to 1 when he doesn't know you b/c that's a pretty big level.

Question: Is he's only ~8k deep? You say he shoves just under 6k on the river....unless he's only raising to 6k and has 3-4k behind?
