I thank it was run-good that you caught him. You have an edge on the rest of the city NOT to eat that pizza imo.

I really really loved the rambling towards the end about downswinging, and what U should do, def. something I'll start doing.

Love the serie, so much great content even for a microplayer.

I wish this episode had more poker content in it. I just felt there werent very many interesting spots or hands in general to talk about.

This series has been outstanding.

I also expect to see FJ as a DC instructor soon - he communicates exceptionally well and appears to have a great grasp of the game.

do you ever call an UTG open from the BB w/ 9Ts here, especially since he's tight and therefore u have better implied odds? or is it spewing money?

do you ever peel twice w/ A high on KTT BvB on a blank turn, knowing that he's able to 2 barrel air, or is a 5/10 reg too likely to 3barrel u off A high? same situation, would u peel twice vs a standard 2/4 , 3/6 reg?

calling is fine, I don't always call and I don't always fold. the worse UTG is the more likely I am to call, the better UTG is the more likely I am to fold. it's hard to get paid off OOP, especially when you flop a bunch of draws and have to get there THEN get paid off or barrel them off of some broadway pair Grin obv a wide generalization but you get the idea.

to answer this you'd need to think your opponent was betting twice and then check/folding rivers. just takes experience with the individual. as we mentioned floating isn't bad, folding isn't bad. you're just going to have to feel your specific opponent out, get a grasp for their tendencies, and then decide if this is a good spot to double float or not (and I'm rarely double floating with just A high w/o a very solid read). same with 2/4 or 3/6. maybe you'd find more opponents there to float though.

What are thoughts about checkraising in spots like these?
I think it's alright since he might bet-fold a vulnerable marginal hand (pp's under 10 basically), which he might feel like he HAS to bet once we check to him. It also gives us some flexibility to get hands like AT or KJ to fold to a turn barrel, or reevalute and go for value on A, K, Q, turns/rivers.
Annnd, if he 3bets us small it could be a cool spot to 4bet bluff jam due to the combinatorics that Fender talks about, and that all he can really have here is 2 combos JTs(since now he is ESCPECIALLY repping a nut hand like that, whereas his single flop raise range could include something like AJ that he's felting).
