What do you think about this theory...
Waiting to raise (minraise) preflop when in early position to increase your fold equity. People may click quickfold their marginal hands if you take a little longer to make a raise, but may raise or 3bet it if the action gets to them before they have a chance to quickfold.
I think that people click quick fold more the longer they have to wait. Also, I think you should refrain from clicking quick fold because the pot will get folded to you a lot and give you steal opportunities and also, you need to give yourself a couple seconds to rest and waiting to click the regular fold button is a good way to build in the break.

Thanks for the video mdm13. My main game is 6max 25NL Rush right now. Unfortunately I wasn't in the video. People play very tight with going all-in preflop here. So in certain spots instead of shoving QQ+/AK we may only shove KK+ since it's Rush. I like your tips about min-raising, opening a flatter range, and doing some thin value 3bets. I wouldn't recommend auto-folding your big blind because people will frequently limp-fold in the small blind, or limp-call and then check-fold the flop. I look forward to your 50NL one next week. Good luck, Yojimgari

well this is why ftp isnt going to implement a true quickfold the bb button because of situations like that. however they are going to put in a fold/quickfold checkbox that quickfolds for you as soon as someone raises
How do you get your hud stats into the place to take notes on FTP? I played today after updating HM but it still wasn't showing any stats.
you have to go to HUD Options > Rush FTP Export. it will create a backup of your notes but it WILL OVERWRITE YOUR NOTES AND COLOR CODES.
Edited your post to put in some multiquotes. That's one of the things we'd like to improve about the forums when we have some time -- on the list but it's a ways off.

I did the export and then have been taking notes in the Full Tilt notes after the export. If I do another export, it will overwrite those notes?

probably. while the hud is too useful not to be used i think HEM fucked up a bit by not warning you that your color codes will get undone and not just adding the stats to the end of a note file or something. if you play rush a lot i would go post on the HEM forums and harass them to do something that won't effectively prevent you from note taking/color coding. i assume they are working on something because if you mix rush and normal games it sucks to have everyone youve ever played with be 1 color and im hoping some people complained.
also you guys are welcome to make comments on hands or make suggestions for next videos you know... I'm making a 50nl one tomorrow but i have the talking part lined up already and i'll do some HEM review in the 100nl one but i'd be willing to put in some time in the 200nl to address any interesting strat stuff you guys want me to talk about. also in the 100nl and 200nl videos ill play for a while beforehand to try to get 200bbs deep on both tables before starting to record.

Welcome back! I like the ghost format. 100nl 200nl would be cool.
Also hem hud works for rush tables with the new beta now.
Oh and I suck at time stamping but remember that Ax hand you had bvb and you vbet the river and got minraised on like a AKx88 board? I was kind of surprised you folded and I call a lot there expecting to chop and you're getting such a good price. I think some people vbet way too thinly even though not much worse calls.
The overbet shove you called where you had midpair and the guy turned two pair and rivered a boat with KQ I didn't like just because it was like a 2x pot bet and I think you have to be right way too often. I'd like it a lot more if he just slightly overbet pot and you were getting a better price. I feel that people are super passive at 25nl so when they show strength I tend to give them credit most the time in those marginal spots.

first thing you gotta either time stamp or just tell me when it is cause i dont remember, i make videos at least several days before you guys read them and consequently i dont remember anything that isnt like a huge pot.
as for the overbet shove i agree, there was another hand in the video i just made that i feel the same about where i may be giving people too much credit for being aggressive so yeah its a leak of mine at microstakes i guess

Poker Tracker 3's normal HUD works great with Rush tables. Not sure why DC's is so pro Hold'em Mgr, but if you want a HUD w/ Rush Poker then PT3 is the way to go, hands down.

I didn't find PT3's rush HUD helpful at all. It was always behind by a few hands. You could get it to sync up but have to time bank for it to catch up. Kinda takes away the point of playing rush. Did you have a different experience?

When I play on my old laptop I agree, the HUD lagged. On my Dell desktop, with an i7 chip, the HUD worked amazingly well. After 15k hands I have very useful stats on many regs, and rush multi-tablers. It really helps identify the maniacs who are 3 and 4 betting with reckless abandon as well as the nits.
