+1million, The start of the series was kind of mediocre, but the interaction between baluga, whitelime, and insyder is just amazing. I think vids with more than one coach/person are really great since you get to hear multiple perspectives and kind of open your mind to the pros and cons of different lines. I hope next season has more duel commentary vids ![]()
TY vlad for all the hands you showed us.
The good the bad and the ugly.
I like how you kept asking questions with different lines or for different holecards.
Hope things turn around for you.
Thanks Whitelime and Baluga for your efforts.
cheers
Baluga, are you still winning money at poker?
EDIT: not intended as a diss, or directed at the video as I haven't watched it yet. I think you're an amazing poker teacher but the results that online tracking sites have seem to hint towards you losing money at poker for like the last year.

not gonna lie, was a tough year. got absolutely hammered at 10/20 deep, 25/50 deep, and got coolered ridic hard at 40/80 deep (T9 in 3bet pot on T96 vs 78, etc).
I also logged very, very few hands. Probably fewer I'd normally do over the course of maybe 6 months. I suppose I was really less focused on playing as I spent a ton of time in airplanes and outside of the country (2009 saw me in australia, france, jamaica, grand caymans, and argentina). I'm probably forgetting a ocuple places as well. Then, with high demands for coaching and with work on my book I really never got into the type of playing rhythm I'd been comfortable with for the previous 4 years or so that i'd been playing professionally. Also, graduating took a ton of focus and effort as well.
I also was playing in the biggest games i've played in thus far, and the swings go much faster when sitting 10 or 15k deep than they do sitting 1 or 2k deep.
live and learn. I'm 100% confident that I'm still a winning player. Bring on 2010.
Hope that answers your question,
Andrew
I also would not like to derail a thread for questions and stuff about a great video with my own sob story wahhh wahhhhhhh
Thanks for the answer, /offtopic.

"Uhhhh...I hate Stats..." CLASSIC!!
Baluga,
As a novice player, they help a bit (imo). But once your analysis and theory are understood (and correctly applied), they aren't as valuable (at the table). Love your vids, and thanks.
