FWF, I think we all would love another dear FWF series. Smile
It's been great and really dislike that it has ended!

I really think I'd snapcall on river with AQ high... that type of small raise on turn vs a 60% turn bet is soooo often a pure bluff trying to look strong.

And he would checkback hands like 22 33 44 A5 77 88 whatever, hoping that you have something like busted flush draw or AQ high.

I mean the way it was played on the turn.

I'd def just shove on turn with the AQ with that stupid small raise he did on turn.

it's not like he should be bluffing hero often at all: hero called a 4-bet and bet that flop. raising here is insanely -EV

Thing is with the potsize I REALLY REALLY REALLY dont expect our opponent to think we dont shove with stuff like AJ or JT like you said or any better. Since his raise intentionally gives the illusion like he's committing but at the same time is giving a good price for a queen or flush draw, I dont think he thinks we're ever calling here with a made hand to checkcall an induce a bluff.

I think what he thinks is we dont have a made hand, and that we most likely have a draw that doesnt contain a pair. So by shoving turn basically he's almost ONLY representing KQ, while I think our hand is usually pretty face up as a queen with no pair or a busted flush draw of some sort.

I really think if we think he's bluffing a LOT on the turn (which I actually do think here, that's why i would also call river obv), we should just shove 4th street. Because this line looks very very very face up to me.

ps: Enjoyed all the episodes, thanks.

Hi fwf, I really liked your series. I have a question to the AQ hand at around 20 mins where we lead the turn for 600 and villain raises our bet. We are getting 3.8 on our call with about 900 left to go in on the river and we are out of position. You say we are getting great odds to all, but assuming we have 8 clean outs to the straight we'd be about breaking even if we could stack him every time we hit, which isn't very likely oop. Is your assumption that overcards are good here x perecent of the time and that when we call the turn he would give up on the river aswell x percentage of the time and we'll have the best hand? Otherwise I don't see how we can make the call.
