Great video Krantz!

I have a question about the deuces here. One continuing theme of a lot of the mid-higher stakes DC coaches is choosing to raise the spots when our hand has some type of equity. I know this is something BalugaWhale teaches and maybe you might disagree.

Why raise 22 here when we have very few outs if called? Is it the fact that we know that our chances of getting called are extremely slim that weigh it out? Also, was your plan to bluff certain cards? If so, I'd like to know which turn cards you would bet and why?

Thanks again.

I always watch a Krantz vid with a smile. Smile

The "don't level yourself" part is a key element in becoming a really solid player imo.

FIVE stars!

since you like to put so much pressure on people, i'm surprised you chose not to buy in for 200bb. any comments on this?

Perhaps he had not enough $ online at the time for 4-5 tabling then?

About that hand KKJ92 board when u fire the 3rd bullett - i now u said that ur wanting to fold out jacks and 9's but do u ever expect him to fold those when they call the turn? I know the result turned out to be good though. But doesnt just seem like the best card to barrell.

What do u think of his play with the 6's? Ofcourse he is never 4betting to fold but do u think its a good play based on the fact that there has only been played 10 hands?

Table 2 TT hand: Isn't your hand kind of face up and he can play pretty perfectly since your probably not taking the b/c/b line on this board as a bluff and if you are your not block betting the river? To me when you take this line and this bet size on river your hand looks like a weak A, or TT-KK and he can easily fold to that river bet with 99 or less. Just looks like you would only get called by better. I think I would just bluff catch river or c/f, maybe a mistake though.

No sometimes we run miniseries which are only 4 episodes long. Right now that is the plan for this series, but perhaps you can persuade KRANTZ to make it full length.

Despite the fact that it seemed like Krants begrudingly made this video, I thought a few parts were interesting.

I like his theory on depolarization bluffs. I wish he would expound about that.

I didn't like how at the beginning of the video he said that he expects everyone to think that he's going to spew yet he couldnt hold himself back from spewing.

Didn't make sense to me but the spewage was nice because it engrained into me the idea that if you wanna bluff trhe river you gotta put in small bets on the turn just to leave yourself the option.

Nice

Yea Krantz mentioned that he was planning on only doing 4 episodes, but i definitely think it should be 8. I think the series should be long enough to give the student adequate time at shot taking

Hey Jay, where you limp A2s behind the fish you say it was a mistake, but is there any merit to doing this considering you will probably be getting 3 bet a lot which will force the fish out of the hand, whereas when you limp behind there will usually only be one raise for the fish to call and you get to play flops with him more?

one of your best videos made so far krantz imo.
Really helpful. Keep up the good stuff!

I'm surprised you were able to play this exploitably though at 1000nl.
You always played your medium strength hands very face up (bet sizing). Also the depolarizing hand range was interesting, but I think you would shove that river 100% of the time with a king so I doubt he folded a jack there.

Anyway good vid!
