Nolan, I liked it, very good video, hope to see some other FR videos from you soon. (perhaps 100NL at FTP if you play there?)

You mentioned that ideal or target won$ when saw flop should be ~40%. My life-time rate in 100NL and 200NL is 35.1, and in May 36.67 when what I've started doing is just trying to pick up orphan pots more if HU or 3-ways by taking stabs.

Briefly, are there any "cliff-notes" how to increase this stat by any few simple methods?

Thanks

Don't worry too much about being at 35% W$WSF, you are certainly in the norm. This isn't to say however that you can't improve. Without any specific info about how you play etc. the most common reason people have trouble achieving 40 W$WSF is that they are missing opportunities to steal multiway pots. For instance if you see a board of A83 second to act in a three way pot and UTG checks, you could consider this effectively being 1v1 with the person in position as the player who is first to act would have to be generally slowplaying a set to have a remote chance of having a hand he could continue with. There's other examples that aren't as cut and dry as this and it would take all day to detail them but hopefully you can work on that in your play.

Loved the video! Looking forward for the next one!

One question: What do you think is the biggest difference between NL200 and NL400? If you play at Full Tilt or any other sites, are there any differences?

Thanks!

Generally the regulars at 400nl will be a lot more aggressive. There is less flatting from the blinds and more postflop floating and bluff raising etc. "Nitting" it up doesn't work as well in general.

I find FTP games to be a little softer than PS but they run less frequently and 3/6 almost never runs. 5/10 and 10/20 run sparingly. Most euro-sites have ten handed full ring games, which is just a little too boring and tilty combined with their generally sub-par software. Eurosites are for 6 handed and hu in my humble opinion Smile

you don't like limping small/mid pocket pairs and suited connectors in early position then? great video btw.

+1 i really enjoyed this. you did a great job of balancing 6-tables with the commentary, although i still think doing 4 occasionally would be good so you can discuss some "what if" situations more often. im mainly interested in preflop decisions since that is the bulk of the play in any game, and my FR preflop strategy is definitely subpar.

awesome! Say, what's your winrate 18-tabling? I'm really curious Grin
Your pf style is kinda similar to mine so I might consider gettting a few sessions with you because my main Coach only teaches Hu and 6max.

This link is a screenshot of the biggest sample i have in my DB. i should note that when i checked session notes my actual "MT Ratio" is 12 but that includes starting a session etc. (it can take up to 30 minutes to get a solid 18 tables running, and then they die etc). So to say I "18-table" isn't 100% accurate, more so I [i]attempt[/] to 18 table every time I play Smile. I'd also like to include that I had a horrible -20bi or so stretch at 3/6 full ring over this sample where I genuinely ran horribly (and tilted sporadically of course), so my actual winrate is a bit nearer 4.0 or so.

also: looking at the rake in these big samples tilts me so hard.
