I have been looking forward to this. I love Limit O8 and aspire to get better at it. Thanks Chuck!
Danzasmack begins the journey with some Limit O8. Beginner tactics and strategies abound for anyone looking to tackle this game.
Chuck jumps into his first series on Limit Omaha 8. Of course, he'd play that hand if you made the Jack a 4!

limit o8 is my favorite non-holdem game...and chuck is hilarious...looks like a must watch for me too!
Great stuff Chuck. I feel like you covered a lot of mistakes that I have been making in my occasional (unsuccessful) forays into LO8. Makes me want to get back in there and play the game right.
The hand where you had AK83 and the board came out K75(heart draw) - Q - 4h, you just called the river with the second nut low and some high value. Would you have raised the end if it had been an offsuit 4? Or is the logic that his line (bet/call flop, bet turn, bet river) is never being taken with a hand that loses both high and low to you, so there's no value in a raise and you just freeroll yourself those times he happens to show up with a 3/4 or scoop?
Edit: Sorry I didn't include a time stamp but it is toward the end, around the 38 minute mark iirc.
Hey Guys,
Sorry if the video seemed rushed at all. I actually finished an entire video that ended up with no audio because I left the mic off the whole time (true story). If the commentary is a little slippery anywhere let me know because I think I played well the whole session.
Sweetjazz,
You can go either way there. That guy was playing so goofy. On the os 4 I certainly would have raised, it's close on the flush completing card but I think just calling is a little better.
I think O8 is the most fun nonholdem game and sometimes is even more fun than holdem. People always given PLO so much luv thanx for given the O8 fans what we want.
Really looking forward to this series.

TBH I enjoy the split pots games a lot more than straight omaha (limit, pot limit, and NL though i don't play limit omaha hi lol). People just play more hands. EVEN MORE HANDS THAN IN PLO!
enjoyed it, definatly a game I am gonna look into

Sounds like a game I would enjoy playing! Hopefully 40 minutes of Chuck's advice will make me crush O8 ![]()

Loved the video.
edit: and they say white men can't rap?
What type of BR do you recommend for O8?
Slightly more lenient than a LHE BR. I think you can get away w/300bbs if you're a reg in the game. When you run bad it's BAD but in general I see much less variance in the games.
Hey Chuck, I'm new here and thoroughly enjoyed your video. Now I'm eagerly awaiting the second part with the math
Do you already know when that one is gonna go live?
