I have access a couple other training sites, and they got powerhouses like Galfond, DrGiggy, Nanonoko, UMD Tennis and others (specifically Pokerstrategy which is free is starting to have vids from the last two and Urindanger). I was just wondering what players like that does DC have?
What are the top 6max instructors with booming longterm and recent 6max PTR whose graphs look simmilar to the mentioned guys that are consistently crushing with high volumes and are currently actively making vids on DC?
I know Grindcore was one of them, but he didn't post anything since his series.
I saw someone comment that there are no winners making 6max vids here and I am just wondering. Its nice to show graphs and justify bad PTR by taking shots or whatever excuse, but it does add a lof of credibility when you look at those 'on fire' people making vids

DC has great coaches. Go watch Yin and Yang, Coaching Kristy, or Never Tell Me The Odds and you'll see. Most coaches don't usually out their screennames since that would dramatically affect their ability to get action, but that doesn't mean they aren't brilliant or that they can't teach. tbh I'd rather get lessons from a creative coach whose graph isn't super impressive than from a bot like Nanonoko.

lol @ calling nanonoko a bot...you can't really bot your way up to 3ptbb at 25/50.

i think doc.lemon has a bit of a point that a lot of the coaches havent been playing as much and or winning as much as they may have done a few years ago. (I might be off and would like to be shown different)
STill a lot of great content and so many good/great coaches.
+ you can see they work hard at what they do and want to strive for the best poker training site.

Bernie Madoff, at various junctures, had booming, pwning, lights out, ass kicking graphs, charts, stats too. I'm no genius, but, I imagine, in addition to thinking about the big picture, there might be a number of factors to take into consideration when considering whether some one is a "good" coach, or not.

Calling Nanonoko a bot is stupid obv. He plays aggro and fights for small pots and makes some sick plays in his vids.
And you know...my goal is to have online success like the mentioned dudes eventually and that's the goal of most people here. You watch a vid from someone, than look at his steady 800k+ ptr with a peak two days ago and it just fills you with confidence that this guy has reached all my online goals and is still adapting to new concepts and player pool and is still rocking and evolving, and that I can 100% trust him as his current achievements copy my goals and targets.

If you are not a hacker its hard to draw that parallel as we are talking about large sample sizes on respectable sites tracked by a central database.
And I am by no means questioning if the coaches are 'good', Bwhale is easily a better coach than Nanonoko for example, but Nano or DrGIggy are the role models who currently are where I want to eventually be in terms of online results and winrate, I would simply want to know what 6Max coaches are near that level amongst the top online grinders of today here on DC.
I know Wot is one of them, but he is not a 6Max grinder.

I think I get it. Since the Republicans took office a few days ago, and the mkt went up about 200 pts, that must mean the right wingers are good for the mkt. Hold on, since Bam Bam won the election 2 years ago, and the mkt went up 2000 pts that must mean Dems are really good for the economy......Oh snap, correlation, cause/effect, noise, whatever...........

Having good recent results doesn't always mean you are any good at poker, nor does it mean you can verbalize your knowledge in an understandable way for a larger audience, nor, even if you were skilled, would you really want to disseminate this info and make your games tougher. When you think about it the coaching industry has made the games way way way harder, even to the point where 50nl games now are much harder than 400nl games of 4 years ago. It's not uncommon to see 3bet/4bet/5bet wars at 50nl these days, this simply didn't happen on a frequent basis even as high as 5/10 in the boom days.
On the other side of the coin, which I can also buy in to, consistent bad results over the last year+ may mean that some of the coaches have lost touch with the current state of the game.
DTB posts coaches results btw, so you can always try out their videos.
But to be honest, most poker videos are recycling the same information again in a different format.
Poker has 3 skill sets.. master them all and you will win

I am talking all results that PTR tracks, longterm 1mil+hands over 2years with only recent peak.
If you have steady 500k+ 6Max winnings over 1mil+ hands it kinda does mean you are good at online poker.
And I understand that being a winner =/= being a good coach, but seriously...There isn't even a single 6Max grinder/coach with 500k+ steady online winnings tracked by PTR on DC?
I am asking a simple question, just point me to the biggest longterm winners that are 6max grinders and make vids on DC and are PTR tracked like Seraph did
No need to come up with conspirational theories or go into essays why an unsuccessful online player can make a good coach. I know you invest in DC so you have tendency to be biased and defend it, but I am not questioning the site nor its benefits. Just asking that one question to which there should be simple answer (I am a subscriber for over 14 months with no plans to leave).
