personally AMT i have seen people just decide that the field is very tight passive and none aggro and raise fold a lot of funk IP using the fact that you will not be calling OOP ever and the overall weakness of the field to there advantage

Which spot are we talking about? Unless I'm misunderstanding your comment we have the 3 bet by canoeboy with 10bb over the short opener then ari's lp [effective] jam? Either way it seems like everyone is far too committed/short stacked to be doing stuff like these for reasons of stealing light.

Thanks! I didn't run any calculations in the video unfortunately (if that wasn't obvious). I was merely using their hand chart to express what I felt were reasonable ranges in these spots. That said, pokerstove is a tool used to run equities vs. ranges of hands. Whereas you can find basic poker calculators on say, cardplayer.com or something similar that'll show you the equity of two different hands street by street, pokerstove allows you to take those single hands and turn them into ranges. Instead of looking at the equity of one hand vs. another, we get to look at the equities of hand range v. hand range. A very important distinction, as it is incredibly rare to be able to put people on a specific hand with enough confidence to make decisions based solely on the hope that you know their two hole cards. Thinking in terms of ranges is the way to go! I very strongly recommend downloading pokerstove and spending time with it in order to get a feel for both this type of general thinking (always thinking in terms of ranges for everyone instead of single hand combinations), as well as the ranges themselves in various spots. Good luck!
