nice vid guys.. I know a lot of people are hesitant to play shortstackers, but in my experience they're super profitable to play against so it's great to have a vid dedicated to this.. I'd venture to guess that they can make up the majority of your profits since most of them play significantly worse, on average, then a full-stack..

Just want to say that I am really glad this site is beginner friendly and starts off the series with the basic fundamentals. Other sites I have been a part of have not been beginner friendly. The best part of this site in my opinion is I can learn the basic fundamentals of of the game here.

hi there! i think you guys are doing an great job. but what i don't understand is: in the first introduction video you say that it might be better not to go for marginal edges on shortstackers because they'll hit and run etc. at the end of this video you recommend to jam it in with JT or Ax after villain limps. now isn't that a marginal spot which is only slightly +EV? i mean with A2 e.g. you'll at best have 60% equity, or not? or did i get something wrong? thx and keep up the good work!

it's only marginal if they call it off every time. The more they fold, the less marginal it becomes. Check out the Math of NLHE series ep 4,5,6 where i talk about ev calcs and fold equity to get a better idea.
Also I should note that passing on small +EV spots is one way to combat hit and runners, but it's not a necessity. If a spot is +EV, it's +EV, it doesn't matter if they leave the next hand or not... it just matters if them leaving will tilt you or if you feel like you are very likely to find a bigger edge later.
