Ps. I definetaly played that 1st hand very badly by missreading re-raises stacksize preflop. No odds to coldcall as you mentioned in video.

could you post your table mods? i looked at the 2+2 thread but i cant seem to make any SWF reader work on my comp.. so i never know exactly what im getting. thx.. i dont usualy watch fullring videos but since im an ongame player this makes me wanna play some fullring when games are slow on 5max..fullring seem a ton softer
Paddy,
Just signed up to HeyPoker with a nice RB deal myself, and from what I've played so far (been 4-tabling NL100) I've found it much softer than Stars.
A lot of these skins on OnGame are connected to sports betting and casino sites, so you're going to get loads more casual players looking to pop in and try their hand at poker. Plus the better players on here all seemed to have understood the "tight" part from TAG but had the "aggressive" part lost in translation somewhere. Most of them are playing like 14/3 etc. and are so easy to read and push out of pots. My red line is going up steeper than my blue.
I agree that the software is pretty bad, but I was expecting worse to be honest. At least you can resize the tables these days!
For table mods I used this made kindly made by SzS at 2+2

I couldn't get a SWF prog to work either but there are some nice examples in that 2+2 thread, you dont actually need a SWF program unless you want to mod yourself.
You will need to use a "modstarter" ahk to write the SWF everytime you re-open the client as well, that is also in that same thread.
For table positioning I use "Placemint" so that makes life a lot easier.
One side effect of using placemint is that it wont let me open the chat portion of the tables - quite possibly a good thing because I sometimes get carried away trashing ratholers.
So if any of you guys are at my tables, I'm not ignoring you I just dont chat ever ![]()
Funny you mentioned FR softer than 5-max at ongame, I think I need to make the switch to short handed as its hard to multi-table euro-sites (which is half the point of FR), I found 5-max NL100 uber-soft but of course the quality of all these games vary incredibly over time I find.
you'Re quite right. I have played up to 400nl, i was a 200nl reg but ever since i moved to ongame. i cant stay a 200nl reg because 1) 200nl even on weekend has good games for 20mins then after day its 25 tables of 100% regs all of which seem more annoying than those at 400nl+(i do have a decent winrate at 200 but i dont play there often cause its really annoying and those idiots reg always min riase flops in 3bet pot and when u left them bluff u they catch 2 outter on turn with their 4th pair turning into set)
and 100nl is so soft it allows for a mindless 4-5ptbb winrate even when multitabling a ton.
softest limits on 5max are 100-600-1k.. all the huge fish i have tagged at 100 are often seen on the 600-1k tables
at 53:00 with 666 hand would you call with KQs or AJcc?

Probably not, I was quite surprised to see him show up with a pure bluff here, I have shown quite a lot of strength and people normally don't bluff into you when that happens - even if mathematically you *should* fold a decent amount of your range.
I think I'm facing mostly a value range with higher sets/79 heavily discounted (I expect him to cr flop or turn there), AQ would have to be AcQc so that leaves mostly two pairs plus some random missed draws.
I think I said "He can't expect me to fold AK there", which is slightly badly worded, I should have said - "he shouldn't expect me to fold AK given that he has no reads on me". I certainly wouldn't expect a random to fold AK there, a regular should but who knows.
On the other hand TP is just no good there against the villains overall range (mostly 2pr) even if he does bluff some on the end so there is a big difference in having bottomset or TP in this example.

Yeah, it's going to suit people who dont mega-table a lot more. Certainly I think micro FR players miss value playing on FT/Stars. Higher volume or mid-stakes grinders might find its not for them.
Your read in the video allready made me some money today
Button in HH is Babinchen. Same kind of half pot bet with air on turn than in the video. And some people still think that watching videos is not huge +EV move... ![]()

Being able to resize the tables helps nothing, as a) the old minitables were smaller anyway b) the resizing is object-based and not actual scaling (except for the cards), so in some seats at some sizes you can't see your cards on the button for example, since the dealer button overlaps them.
Oh yeah and resizing doesn't even work in Omaha, which is lol.

I heard rumours that update is coming tomorrow. Hopefully it will fix some of the problems.
Sofware is pretty bad but playerpool is soft and rb/bonuses are the best in market what I have seen.

Hey paddy, i have very similar views to you on shortstackers, i cant stand them being in the games. It amazes me how many winning regs in my games do not know how to deal with the shortstackers. They will never 3bet them light despite some of them having 70-80% fold to 3bet and just generally stay out the shortstackers way allowing them to make alot of non-showdown $$$. Just that 2-3 min talk you gave in the vid about min-raising/min 3-betting shortstackers constantly is the exact way all regs should play these rats too destroy the winning shortstackers winrates. Cheers for bringing it up as i hope alot more regs pick up on it and adjust properly to these clowns.

"and support, forget it. You might aswell mail mightymouse"

Nice vid, never played on Ongame before, thought your video would help but I still have no clue if I should or not. The software seems awful from the looks of it
Pluses
- Great Bonuses (lol supernova)
- Softish games at times
- Not so many ratholers due to bonus structure and 3hr rathole limit.
Minuses
- Worst software on web (tied with pacific)
- Impossible to play >9 tables (even that pushes a top PC to the limit)
- Money disappears at random from cashier (though it does always come back)
- 10-20% of the volume of players at stars/ft so not much table selection.
- Very little donkament action if thats your thing.
- No FR action above 400NL and not even much 400NL at times
So it really will depend on how you grind, if you are looking above 400NL FR forget it. If you like mega-tabling forget it.
I can actually see this being a better option for uNL players and/or 5max players.
