Why was this split into two parts, when those parts are so short?

This week's was a little bit short, but last week's episode was actually right about the correct length. I am aiming for 35-50 minutes as the target length for each of my podcasts, as I think they are more manageable that way. Since the plan for now is to air them weekly rather than skipping the next season, I wanted to do more regular, shorter segments, rather than longer segments interrupted by a 2 month period, in order to provide continuity and manageability.

I can manage much longer episodes, no worries there. Continuity is nice, though. Better continuity might be provided by not interrupting a discussion and continue a week later.

Enjoying the series but thought a couple of GMAN's references were gratuitous:

1.fictional little old ladies waiting for the bubble to burst (in Episode 2)... Wouldn't it be awesome if there actually WERE a bunch of old ladies in the WSOP ME bubble? (esp. since I had $$ on a woman making the final table!)
2. referring to the 40-y-o as "old guy", "old dude", oldie, oldhead, Oldilocks, etc.

Not personally offended... but was surprised and distracted from the 1st hand analysis in this episode. Also curious being new to DC, is this normal parlance here? What's the average/median age of a DC member?

Not really sure of the median age, but when I said old guy, in most cases I actually meant a guy 55+ who plays very very tight and straightforward. And although my bubble table was tough, I swear there was a 60 year old English woman who folded every hand for 2 hours.

Being 24 myself, I am essentially considered an old guy in the online poker world, so maybe I just say that to try and feel better about the good days on and off the felt being behind me already Smile

the hand with AK, what do you do with QQ in the same spot? what do you do if youre in the bb instead and it folds to you? how different are these situations given that we're pretty much calling shoves from all stacks behind us anyway

Again, great series. The AK hand was very interesting. I think a larger 4 bet pre would have solved the issues. But with the given action, do you think the German opponent knew g-man and his laggy tendencies? Also the bet size of the re-raise on the flop...weakness and easily exploited? Do you think this guy was on that level or just a tard? His bet sizing said the same thing..at least to me.
