I thought he folded 33 too, but when I watched again it was 93o not 33.![]()
Good video as always.
Great content as usual but the video quality was shocking for me.
Not to speak badly of the other videos on this site because I think there great. But this one was at a whole new level, I learned a lot.
baluga rules as usual ![]()
Awesome vid, a lot of the topics discussed are really relavent for some of the discussions going on between us noobs in the small stakes forum. I'm really excited to hear you talk about cbetting vs checking back in marginal spots because that's something I think I struggle with quite a bit.
btw it'S me doing stupid things in the vid :>
I understand the concept of its better to 3b KT than 78s 2 way, but in this spot here with the Q9 isnt it different since the pot is gonna be so big that we are not really happy valuebetting a Q or even bluffcatching with it?
So if we discount the value of flopping tp which will almost never be good even for 1 bet, doesnt it make 78s the better hand for these spots for the strong draws that we can make ?

I would say that it's more important that we "win the pot" than anything else in a 3-bet pot. And Q9 is still going to "win" more often than 87s, even though 87s may often times flop stronger draws. the real problem is that draws aren't super good in spots where people don't fold (conversely, in spots where people don't fold, we may be able to bet a pair of Q's for value.

good vid but baluga's voice needs a transplant!
you mentioned he folded a set, I thought so too rite when I saw it. I rewinded and assumed it was a jacked up 93. just because of the video quality, and well, who folds sets
good vid but baluga's voice needs a transplant!
he's rich, he smokes a loooot
You can't really see people stats here but I think you are labelling some people too fast as fish.. Just because someone calls 3bet OOP? I think it was SB vs BB, what range do you call a 3bet here being OOP?
Also you say something like good people bet and takes advantage of dead money while bad check and give opportunities to draw out/suck out.. It's something a bit opposite to what you often advice - more calling and checking when don't really need to worry about being outdrawn or "protecting your hand" what you don't like..
I guess I am just missing the context maybe but it would be nice to make it more precise.
Of course the video is great just keep it coming pls ![]()
