You guys discussed a lot about always 3-betting 1-card draws in the SB vs an LP open, but CC all 1-card draws vs an EP open as a general balanced strategy. How are you approaching 1-card draws in an EP vs LP situation where we now have position? Also, does this change as your position shifts more towards EP vs MP?
I think I would generally keep the same strategy, except I have slightly less incentive to raise out the big blind as we will have position anyway. That said, I still want to reraise hijack and simply get value for our 1-card draw range, and I'll still flat against earlier positions because they'll be pat or drawing one almost always.

Another question (notice, I have never played Badugi, except drunkern homegames): where can you find a decent Badugi equity calculator? I made a quick google search and I found something called troutulator, but the website (geocities) no longer exists.
Like when you talked about not being sure how equities of A2 stack up against 567. Obviously it depends if and when opponent stops drawing, but is there a way to quantify how we fair?
Edit: I think I found the troutulator (http://www.andyblackwood.com/converter.html)

^ yep, this is what you should use. You can input what the drawing strategies are for each player and see how hands do hot and cold given those (and see the effect of changing the drawing strategy).

pick up here
Sorry, accidentally posted my note to myself to the forum.
I'm new to DC and enjoy mostly draw and mixed games, especially in tournament fashion. I enjoyed this video a lot. I especially found the discussion about which bad three card hands to play like A23 for balancing purposes to be informative. I must say most of my badugi experience is in the smaller cash games ($2/$4 and under) and the cheap MTTs and SNGs on Stars, where the games are more likely to be full ring and it is tougher to get pots HU.
I can tell you that playing like Vingtcent or DeathDonkey (or even myself) will get you called dirty names a lot in the lower limit games
I find most "regular" players in the smaller games are far too passive and fail to extract as much value as they should from their strong three card hands, and pay to draw far too much to weak three cards that lose when they don't cash and often still lose when they do catch. It is awfully tough to try to make most of these players break, though.

would you pitch the 8 in A28 in HU situations or also in multiway situations?
I saw a video about badugi and in the video was written that I should open my better 1cd 8s from the co+. what is the point in opening a28 but then discarding the 8? then I could open all my a2 and a3 hands from the co.

is breaking the K good? It is pretty rare to catch a badugi especially HU. are we breaking the K because we have A45 which is effectively the same hand as a pat K at showdown? if we had 543K would you keep the K? whats your bottom line? 456K?
Yes I'd say probably something with a 6 in it. Aside from the hand strengths being similar its about implied odds vs reverse implied odds too

what is the worst 1 cd you would 3bet HU? do you 3bet all 1cd you want to play?
if this guy is passive why do we call on the turn w/ A67? aren't we behind of his range by too much? I don't know the equities in badugi... is there an equilator?
We usually have 10 outs against a better 3 card, very rarely we have the best hand and he gives up on the end, etc

why is this a fold? he goes from 2 to 1 too, is drawing to the 9 just too bad oop? would you call w/ A58?
Yes we go from some chance of having the best 3 card to no chance with a 9 in our hand. Similar with the A58 really, though its a little smoother and we could always catch an improving same suit card as the 8, so I guess I'd probably continue with that.
