I am stunned that KK52ds was good by the river 5 handed. And look at those hands that cold called your utg pfr. My original question was how much your 2 K hi flush draws must be devalued in a 5 way pot, but it looks like there is a lot of value...especially with a K hi backdoor flush draw that spikes on the river.

someone told me to come here to watch myself spew, now you have my 10k + $30 for the month : )
pretty good analysis first hand, even pointed out where I went wrong, I didn't realize there was 3rd player in pot. I think that changes your range a lot right? Also my pair might be too low, AA46 or KK46 even looks like clear, call/getitin on almost all non-spade turns. But with 3 overs I have to freeze up on too many turns imo.
Think without the other player in though flop fold is too tight just looking at combinatrics because most of your overpair + fl dr hands will have been 3-bet pre and obv not a ton of 55 77 combos, or even 57 combos given your 3-bet range.. many more pair + fl draw or pair + straight draw yada yada... but yeah in this hand the guy behind definitely over rides that. Then turn and riv of course just follow from whatever your flop is on paired board vs. someone good
Good vid, gl gl, don't tell CR I was here hahah

How does the equity change for mika with 9TQJ if its dubbel suited so much that it could be a call? Isn't that a minor consideration given that you and micro are very likey to have his suits dominated a high procentage of the time?
Probably another 3%.

somewhat bad quality this time but still great content.
emil, i know you are busy and everything but could you please answer those questions which i posted in the last video thread:
fantastic series emil. you really got me into playing lots of PLO now and be inspired about poker once again given how interesting this game is =)
now what i have trouble with is:
- what type of boards are good to c/r?
- what do you do when you get c/r on what type of boards?
am i correct if i say that if we have 7xxxx on K72r and we get c/r hes more likely to be bluffing given we have a 7 or say 77xx in our hand? is it true that in PLO you cannot be c/r for value as thinly as you can in NL? especially on dry boards?
also it would be interesting to hear what type of hands are good to 3bet IP and OOP depending on if someone opened early or late position.
other than that, hope a lot of more episodes are coming as the game itself is so complicated. please dont shut down too early!
I thnk it is really important to understand that and you should probably do a theory PLO video without actual play but with examples and the equities hands have vs someones ranges.
once again thanks for the series, making more money in plo than in NL nowadays!!

So if the flop was something like KT6 instead of AT6, would you be more likely to check-call instead of bet-folding? How much shallower in terms of SPR would you like to be to bet-call a hand like this on the flop?
I'm probably still just betting against most players b/c you don't get aggressively bluff raised in PLO on unpaired/non straight boards. But against a really aggressive player, this is a better spot to check-call.

There really isn't a specific answer to most of these except paired boards in general are spots you can c/r aggressively and CIB if you get c/r'd. It's good to have the other card in your hand when you c/r a paired board for card removal reasons so an 8 in your hand on 833 or a 5 in your hand on JJ5.

Emil, you mentioned how you think the optimal VPIP at these tables is 25-35%. I assume if you're playing 5/10, you're playing a bit looser? If you are, it's probably due to the fact of what you said earlier in the video about being able to play more speculative hands profitably because you have a greater edge in postflop skill.
I was wondering your thoughts on SSPLO. Right now, I have a VPIP of ~21%, 4-tabling. In these looser games, I can't really justify 3-betting a wide openraiser w/ a hand like 9754ds if I'm probably going to get cold-called by 2 other loose-passives behind me, besides the PFR. How can I try to find more hands to play? But, there's that old adage "the looser a game is, the tighter you should play, and vice versa". Maybe I should be limping any weak Axxx,ss hand on the button if a couple players have limped in first. I suppose weak QQxx or JJxx hands would be good candidates too. Thoughts?
