6-table videos are tough, you are going to have to view it on the highest resolution monitor you have.

Love the series, love the commentary, but the video quality is poor. Viewing it on a high resolution monitor doesn't work if maximized, it just looks more distorted.

Sorry if the video quality doesn't look great. Running this vid on my 30" it looks fine? Does this video have worse quality than other 6 table videos I've done? I didn't change anything in the recording process from previous videos.

I have no problem watching the video on a 22! Great video as usual when Nolan's playing! Looking forward to the 5-10 video!

I have one question: the tables always seem pretty tough, so are you playing some 6 max too when the tables are that bad? or do you just sit with the regs? Do you think a fr reg should look into beating the same limit on 6 max to be able to table select better?

Overall Video quality is fine, we just cant see ur stats. We can tell that they are there but they are undreadable. That is on a 22' running 1680 by 1050 resolution.

Everything looks cloudy and granulated on my 24". I'll try a different player and see if thats the problem.

Me personally, yes I almost always throw in a few 6m tables to my tile when I play. I don't think this is an absolute neccessity, but it is certainly helpful when you're playing 3/6+ and fewer games run. I would say only about 20% of the Stars 3/6+ regs do this however. If you're comfortable with 6m play and 9m play and you're able to adjust appropriately to both while playing a session then I think it's great to mix in both games in the interest of finding the best tables.

It's not really about filesize so much as there are other variables that will mess with that (animations, framerates, etc). This vid was produced at 1600 wide, which is the standard max width we do for most of our vids (4-tabling ones included). I'm producing a new one at 1900 wide to see if it increases clarity a bit, but it's rare for us to do that as 1900px wide is very close to true HD resolution and will eat a lot of people's computers alive when trying to play back.

The AVI is producing now, from there I'll do a MP4 (flash/MP4 download) and finally a WMV which will take the longest to produce, but all new versions will be up today and you guys can check it out and see if it plays back more nicely. Smile

Back to the actual poker play. That hand were you flat a 3-bet with JJ because you are sure the villain has AA/KK. Would you flat all pairs you open there? And with the JJ, are you just checkfolding on lets say a 522 board?

Yes, all pairs. Yes, probably check/folding a dry board. Most of these guys are good enough taht even if they do have the 5% of their range that is like AK / Suited connectors they know I can't stand a double barrel if I don't have KK/AA myself.

imo.

Ok -- reproduced in MP4 and WMV. I'd recommend looking at the MP4 version but the new version is 1900x wide (as wide as we can realistically produce without overburdening most people's computers). It looks viewable to me on my 30" monitor, hopefully it helps out you guys a bit. Smile

Thanks for the respone. One more question: Would you play those pairs the same way at microstakes against a decent tight player?
